The Official Willem Dafoe/Green Goblin I in Spider-Man 3 Thread!!

We all know that he was the Green Goblin in the first Spider-Man movie and appeared in Spider-Man 2 hauting harry. It is only logical we see him because Harry begins to go over the edge angry that Peter killed his Dad and a whole bunch of other stuff.

So this is a thread to discuss any news on him, speculate and other stuff like tht. Its strange how no news has been heard of him being in the movie a little bit to strange if you ask me. How can Harry become the next Goblin without us seeing him again....

THe only news I could find on him was fromm a movie hole article in April of 2005

Speaking about repeating yourself, there are all sorts of rumours about Spiderman 3 and Hobgoblin, and you had a cameo in the last one. Did Sam (Raimi) come to you about maybe doing your thing or are you going to try to stay out of this one?
Not yet. I like Sam a lot. I like Sam a lot. I’m not floating a balloon but I would guess that if he’d ask me to do something, I’d probably do something but you know I feel patient. If there’s something for me to do, I’d probably be there but if not it just means it doesn’t make sense to be the goblin anymore.

I personally think they could show him in some sequences of dreams/hallucinations and maybe an end credits scene showing him alive.

Scenes with him taunting Harry but than at the end or during the credits I want a scene say like at Harrys grave. A strange hooded man walks buy and than he stops at the grave adn then we see his face as he removes part of clothes that is covering most of his face and it is Norman.

That'd rule! And what'd add onto the coolness is if Norman said something like "This isn't over Spider-Man. I will rebuild, I will find a new man to take my place..." and than that'll give us the promise that Hobgoblin is not too far behind.
