I am one of those "newbies", but only in the sense, that I haven't written many posts. Actually superherohype is my startingpage in my browser, and I read the x-forums almost daily.

I think, the reason why it seems like newbies are appearing everywhere is, that the recent development of the franchise has provoked a lot of the "silent" readers of the forums to start posting.

I, for once, just posted because I had some new info about the danish actor auditioning for the part of Angel, and thought it would be fun to share it with you guys, and while doing that, trying to do a manip of him, as that was something I had never done before.

Well, that's just my thoughts (and my manip again, I'm a little bit proud of it, being my first manip and all... )

I only just found this site. But I have been a long time fan. I have been a long time fan of fantasy art from there I got into X-men in high school during the late 70's/early 80's. I'm 42...and in high school I was really into role-playing games and my high school chum, John, invented a RP game that was a hybrid of "Metamorphosis Alpha" "Gamma World" and D&D and then called "Beta Universe" ...X-Men was kind of like required reading for survival in Beta Universe. Then my first paying job although at 3.65 an hour was working in a Comic-book/Role Playing Game & Supply store. So I may be new here I am certainly not new to X-men.

how is what Gwen wearing give the appeal of that of a skank?? how is Gwen a skank? since when does a 35 yr old women need someone's permission to feel comfortable and dress in whatever manner they see fit.

might want to watch the Gwen bashing around me. i don't take too kindly to it.
