I'm sure some will agree with me, but Amanda is far too silly and comical to be considered serious. She has yet to prove that she can be serious is what I'm saying. She might be able to pull it off, but she looks nothing like the comic counterpart either.

Unstraighten her hair and I think she'd look plenty like her.

A comic character's face, when said character has been around for decades, doesn't usually have one face they're always drawn as having. Kitty being sort of a generically pretty girl has alternated plenty.

Amanda and her share contants like being waify, cute, brunette, jewish girls.

Jamie Foxx until just recently after Ray and winning the award was generally looked at just the same way Amanda was/is. ''Oh, he's too silly/too much of a comedian to be serious."

The fact is he did something to prove the critics and everyone wrong. Amanda has yet to do this and until she does she'll just be viewed as the funny cute girl from All That, The Amanda Bynes Show, and whatever that show she is on on the WB is called about, ah yes, What I Like About You.

I think if she tried her best she could do the role sure. She could probably be serious and steal the show, it's just the fact that she hasn't tried this yet.

I never once said anything about Ben Affleck however. (I agree with you I don't like him, and I don't think he was the right guy for Daredevil either. His wife Jennifer Garner is a different story though. )

that's a legitimate concern. Regular people, not hardcore fans, would recognize the fact they hadn't seen her in the previous movies, but could very well remember there being a girl who walked through walls

That's what scares me about Ellen as Kitty in a bigger role. Will people notice ''Hey. That's a different girl." Of course, they will. How old was Katie Stuart? Was she too young to be considered a ''romantic interest" for Bobby? Is that why we have Ellen now? Or is just for the fact they wanted a better actress to play her for the bigger role?

Yeah, it's Jared Leto. I originally wasn't even going to do a Gambit manip since there's been nobody cast to play his part yet, and I knew everyone would be like "WTF THAT MANIP SUX JARED LETO IS TEH SUX!", but oh well. I think he'd be an ok choice.
