Hey guys, i appreciate the kind words very much you make my crappy days at work seem like a whisper..lol..

As for how this particular manip was done. I took one of the scanned magazine images from the photos thread (Not sure who it was that posted it but it was recent) and I really went into detail to try and take away that scanned, grainy look and make it more crisp and soft like the other official photos. From there i went into famke's features and went into details such as veins and eyes. I took a while on this because i wanted it to look as genuinely real as possible. Then after tweaking the details a bit more, i used a mix of fire stock photography and some lighting effect stock to create the phoenix/fire effect.

I find this funny for some reason, in a good way. It makes me think Phoenix rose out of Alkili Lake and came to the mansion to find Scott getting somewhere with someone posing as herself.up:

I think you have a very good sense of the flames, it looks very interesting, now i would say just try and make the lighting and contrast just as equal to the rest of it so it looks more seamless.. i had that issue when i started manips on this board.. things didnt seem like they should go together, but after a while, you start combing more realisitic elements.. hope this helps.

also, ill be happy to make some storm manips if someone points me to some high res promo shots of halle as storm.
