oh, ya, i was just post a few sample test versions
(its, ok, if its not ur final version right? i didn't even know about the rule, if i changed it around since that last version i posted)
I actly just finished redoing the whole thing (or most of it anyway, keep a some thing as is)
debateing on if i just wanna enter it as is or take a few more days to work on it

yea as long as your final version is alot different then the test versions you posted here. If you had posted those in the competition thread, it wouldn't have counted.

well,i didnt add any more characters but i did a 'progress diamond transformation on emma,i think i like this one more,lets you know who she is and not just some random blonde chick

lol no he's not. I don't think they did anything to Hugh's chest to make it more/less Wolverine-y though. That's just the way it is.

well considering i've actually had photoshop classes.. and the teachers always say "those who rely on filters to do there art, hardly know what there doing with photoshop" and you kinda proved that by even saying "it makes things easy for me" and "it blends things to look better" in other words, it covers up your mistakes . why add that hidious filter anyway? it hardly looks like a "cartoon" and takes away from the pic what could be very beautiful. trust me, your work will look better without it

im not relying on the filters,i did other things in the manip either than the filer you know
and i think it looks good,but if you prefer,i can do one without the filter,give me a few minutes

the filter usually just makes it look like the pic is dirty.. and covered in black crap.. and i know you did other things.. but the filter takes away from that

i understand how you feel too.. but its kinda funny cuz when someone critisizes you... you always respond as if you don't care... but if you didn't you should just ignore. Im just tryin to help man, if your putting your art on here, then your showing it to the world.. why not find a happy medium where you love it.. as well as others? i'll assure you that thats a much better feeling then just you likeing it alone

see this already looks much better. only things i'd really work on are logans face (he looks kinda pale in the face), and i'd feather and blur the edges on everyone but emma, because they look to crisp to be real, and i know its difficult to do, but jean kinda looks like shes standing rather then flying, so i'd try to move her legs together or something to look, more like a flying postition. I'm also sorry to come off rude to you, but sometimes you seem pretty stubborn, and commented on someone saying they can't use the cuckoos yet you put natalie portman as rogue. I know theres contest rules but you kinda sounded as harsh at time too I enjoy giving advise, just not when someones to stuborn about hearing whats wrong with there work, thats when i get harsh

i also posted the wrong one,heres the better one,i fixed emmas diamond and added a lense flare on jean to look like she is using her powers,why?i dont know,just thought it looked good

btw,to me it looks like jean is flying because her feet arent flat like she is standing,theyre pointed downward,so i think it looks like shes flying

batboy99 I agree with spideyboy_1111, the manip looks better without that cartoon effect. This way it doesn't look like you're using a cheap trick to hide the flaws. If something doesn't look perfect, you should try to fix it not cover it up.

heres my entry for the competition that got disqualified but oh well,i think someone should have informed me that i was dqed before i started b/c it took a verylong time,but oh well
