Yea, production design is usually one of the strongest facets of Snyder's films. Kinda reminds me of Ridley Scott in a way. Very much an artists director.
Indeed.
On the subject of Darkseid, two things worth getting excited about:
Omega Beams and Apokolips on screen.
wow so long in the works and now three years of production ahead...if this movie does not deliver all hell breaks lose and faith in wb is lost forever
yeah if this bombs they need some time to recover. or stop doing superheromovies forever. All faith lost for 3 or 4 years until the next movie.

but who am i kidding..i'll go see it anyway either the chritics are good or bad( and i guess so will the majority of the fans)...well wait a minute. i usually watch all that stuff but i still avoided green lantern...i feel brave somehow![]()
The idea of seeing Superman and Darkseid going toe-to-toe on Apokolips is just... wow.
I have a BAD feeling about this.
Shoving so many characters into one movie without a dedicated film for each...it doesn't give enough time for the audience to create an emotional bond with the characters. So when the characters all join together it's not as hard hitting on that emotional level.

I don't know if my heart would be able to take it.
I've always said Marvel need to do it because their characters are less well know. How ever Dc is the opposite so they don't need to so that.

It's a point, but it's not worth much. People have vastly overstated the importance of the solo flicks. There's such a huge discrepancy between its box office numbers compared to the solo ventures. And much of that is attributed to the fact that Avengers, on its own, became an event movie. Which means it attracted a far larger audience beyond those who had come out for the previous outings.People liked Avengers for a variety of reasons. 1.5 billion dollars says so.
One of those reasons is the interactions of these already established characters. He does have a point.
