i wonder if, during the experiments on the super-spiders, any of the researchers let a spider bite an animal like, say for instance, a mouse
assuming the spider didn't coccoon the mouse and eat it or something, would the mouse gain some spider-man like powers if it survived a few days?
it would be interesteing to see, anyway..or maybe not that interesting unless someone else gets bit by a spider and gets spider-man powers but their body rejects it and they go insane and eventually die or something

Spider-man asks several people in ULTIMATE Spider-man, first of which being Electro, to my knowledge. Electro doesn't tell him, of course. He jokes to the media that he comes from another planet where spiders and humans mate or something. He'd have asked the Goblin, but seeing as at that point the Goblin was in a psychotic rage and only growling Peter's name, Pete asked, "who are you?" and nothing more. One of the reasons I loved the Ultimate books is that they went really in-depth as far as making the characters a lot more down to earth in this way.

This Story is all about a Radio Active Spider out of 15. I believe you pointed it out MJ that there was 14 & that one was missing & the lady came up with the lame excuse that it was being worked on. But really it was busy biting me & then giving me powers. Then one night I kicked some big dudes butt in a wrestling match the owner screwed me over out of my money & then he got robbed by some dude I let him go & that same dude killed Uncle Ben. Yes that is right I am responsible for my Uncle Bens death. But I became Spider-Man for him because one day he told me with great power comes great responsiblity.

Now I have an alien symbiote from outer space that has taken over me & is making me go evil. In other words MJ your fired your not my chick anymore Gwen is

I guess its a good question for a fan of the movie to ask...but to be honest, how many people actually thought of the villains asking Spidey how he got his powers?! (Probably not too many)

IF quentin beck is in the movie, he may challenge spider-man that his powers are nothing more than theatrics and put him to some kind of test like in one of the spidey video games
then spider-man can punch him out and say something like "i didn't need a radioactive spider to bite me to do that...but it helped"

and if you get bitten by this spider mouse, you grow a tail, swing around with webbing and love cheese^^ scorpion venom was born this way^^

This would make for a great story... I remember reading a comic at barnes and nobles, and there was this one guy, who actually saw Parker get bit by the spider... So he followed him, and he knew about all of his powers, yadda yadda yadda... So that night, he broke into that lab, and found that same spider that bit Parker, but it was nearly did from radiation poison, so he ate it...

But instead of giving him Super human Spidey powers, it gave him the ability to transform into a 1000 spiders, and switch bodies by kissing his victims....

well all i can say is that he was insane. it doesn't really matter that he didn't ask how peter got his powers. it doesn't mean that he didn't think about it.

besides, we don't see peter asking how norman got his powers do we?
its kind of plain and simply with doc ock since peter was there for his accident.

but i guess just asking peter during a battle how he got his powers would be a stupid meaningless dialouge. but i'm pretty sure in this movie m.j will address how he got his powers...i mean he spins a web and their making out on it, not normal human stuff to spin web from your wrist.
