grrrrrrrr after 1st 5mins thought we were gonna batter them!!!! bugger

dosnt help that we had a stone cold penalty bizarrely turned down either!

well from what I have heard is that they were spending above their means and need to make champions league at least next year - dont forget they bought keane back for 17mil so only made 3mil on him in the end

People keep giving Spurs credit for the progression they've made. However, they have spent quite a lot to get there, which often goes unnoticed.
That sounds famillier.....

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "With playing so many games you could see tonight that we had no spark. Ipswich were sharper and we made a mistake which they took advantage of. The good thing is that we play at home in the second leg and that can make a difference. We will not always be as lacking in creativity as we were tonight."

Excuses, excuses. Oh and by the way Proff we've been worse at home than we have away this season. Go figure...

Oh Arsenal. They can still win it at home but c'mon, you're so close to a 1st trophy in ages with all the big guns out. Time to start delivering!

They won't. I'm sure they'll find a way to f*** it up.

Arsenal need to stick the hand in the pocket & get a few somewhat proven players to try & take them to the next level. They've gradually fallen behind the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, probably Manchester City soon & are in danger of being left in Tottenham's rise to the top..

This buying unknown players & trying to turn them into stars isn't working, flip sake Fabregas has just started to shine in an Arsenal shirt in recent seasons & he had his head turned in the summer.. I'd be surprised if he isn't a Barcelona player inside the next 3 years, really surprised.

Arsene Wenger is a talented manager but in all truth this transfer/squad policy isn't working for them.. they really need to spend abit of money so they don't get left in the dust.

All very true points. Unfortunately for us, the most frustrating thing is nothing will change. However, for the other teams it's brilliant!

You really are angry at Arsenal aint you??....

Bloody right I am. I'm fed up with the club treating the fans like crap and exploiting them. I'm also fed up with the lies and lack of ambition from the higher powers who are only interested in lining their pockets. For all the praise we get in regards to our model and how we run the club, those at the top are a complete contrast to it.

I'm also fed up of our managers spineless attempts to coach attempts to coach a team, as well as the attitude of some of these players that think their hot s***, but in truth have done and/or won f*** all so far in their careers.

Fair enough....

F***ing disgusting! Well done to Ipswich! I hope they embarass us at the Emirates, so Wenger can ever buck up his ideas or F*** off. Enough is enough...

I couldn't understand the high line the defense kept playing, before the goal there two other occasions in which a simple ball over the top caught them out, the warning signs were there yet Wenger didn't instruct them to drop deeper when he brought Song on.

On the plus side Walcott played well, he made a couple of fantastic off the ball runs that would have resulted in goals if not for good saves from Fullop.

To Ipswich's credit they played really well and were worth their win I feel, it was the first time I've seen the much hyped Connor Wickham and I was impressed, he's got some ability to go with his size.

couldnt agree more...arsenal always finds ways to disappoint

So Sepp Blatter really hates England huh? What did you guys do to him? LOL!

wonder how much he got paid to say that?

That oaf doesn't take a **** without being bribed first... the sooner he pops his clogs and ****s off the better....

So Wayne Rooney's brother was drafted by the NY Red Bulls.

Ferguson happy with squad size & age range

Considering where we currently are sitting in the league & with players like Valencia to return as well as several other on loan youngsters, I'm pretty sure Ferguson would be happy with his current squad.

In the summer however with Giggs/Scholes looking increasingly likely to make this there last year & Hargreaves almost certainly done, we're definatly gonna need at the very least 1 maybe 2 midfielders depending how our current crop progress between now & the end of the season.

Alexis Sanchez is one I definatly would like to see at Old Trafford, him & definatly a central midfielder.

Who do they have out on loan as midfielders? Cleverley seems to be progressing well.

I am always dubious about articles from sites like caughtoffside

i have been hearing rumblings of suarez though and think he would be an excellent purchase

hazard and warnock are 2 people I would really like to see in a red shirt too

I have got to question though why any of these (other than warnock of course) would want to join our cluster**** of a season!

I'd say that's why the owners may not want to go for too many players in this window, they probably think they'll have a better chance of landing the players they want once we have this season done and dusted and we're still in the PL. :oldrazz: Still in the PL.......how we have fallen with that type of thinking. :csad:

We need a massive clearout in the Summer. Defenders, Midfielders, Wingers, Fullbacks, Strikers.......we need reinforcements in all areas.

Thats a big ask though, once you get sucked into the relagation fight its very hard to escape.
