Darron Gibson deletes Twitter account after only 2 hours due to abuse

According to The Guardian the users sending the abuse seemed to be mostly United fans, however this link shows some screenshots of some of the messages Gibson was sent & I count only 3 out of 10 that claim to be United fans.. and if you read some of their other messages posted on Twitter.. well it is clear they are ******s.

A few of the other people in the link below have deleted their accounts.. my guess is, people started sending them abuse, for the abuse they sent to Gibson, oh the irony.

According to Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5), Gibson started one.. then decided he just couldn't be arsed with it & had him (Rio) delete it & it had nothing to do with any sort of abuse.

It would be amusing if we had the ability to steal him for like £10m with clubs willing to pay over £20m for him.

Mate that's insane! Looks nothing like me, but you've strangely managed to get the majority of my statistics correct! I'd increase the speed, pace and sprint elements though, best part of my game IMO.

You even managed to get the colour of my boots right; bright pink. Although I wear Nike Mercurials, not Adidas. Picky ******* I know.
