reports are coming in aguero will see or face no charges from the fa.....*slow clap*

in other news waters wet the sky is blue and well see what bs they use to get st pep off

The absolute salt from a lot of Man Utd fans in here, is bordering on pathetic.

:funny:

In other news, biggest match of the evening is likely the grudge match between Chelsea and Barcelona, I've got a feeling it's going to be a dramatic one. Hazard always seems to pick the big occasions to perform, so it should be a good match.

on please do elaborate on why we and a lot of other teams fans shouldn't be pissed off at the favoritism city has received all season.

the incidents last night were the tip of the ice berg of citys self entitled arrogance. there is video evidence yes the fan should not have been on th pitch no one is denying that, but come on aguero strikes him and then chases after him fists clenched, youre gonna tell me if he hadnt been stopped by a wigan player he would have been civil. there is your evidence right there for a ban, the ref and fa are always calling for intent, agueros intent was to punch a fan.

and as for pep. watch the video he's screaming put his hands on the wigan manager and then goes after the ref.

but again they never kicked a poor water bottle like jose or hurt the refs feelings like wenger, the evil evil monsters

They need to somehow not concede a goal and then they could have a chance at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona's away form hasn't been all that stellar lately, they seem a little on the fatigued side of things. I wouldn't rule out a 0-0 draw either since neither team is exactly setting the pitch alight. I think Chelsea might feel confident of stifling Barcelona and maybe stealing a goal here or there.

Unfortunately I don't think it'll be as exciting as the PSG v Real game :hehe:

I haven't seen the incident. How does it compare to Cantona's kung fu kick? He got a huge ban for that.

Chelsea would probably take a boring game right now. A 1-0 would be ideal if they could somehow score a late goal. But 0-0 would still set them up well if they can score away.

Aguero takes a swipe at the Wigan fan with his forearm after the guy gets too close to him, no comparison between this and the Cantona kick whatsoever. It's a storm in a tea cup. In all honesty I'm on Aguero's side with this, fans sometimes get away with behaving like absolute yobs, a reasonable person would probably react that way.

These guys make good points.

Hah, yeah, I think Chelsea wouldn't mind a boring 0-0 and then try to smash and grab one at the Nou Camp. Like you said, they just have to avoid letting Barcelona score that away goal and they'll probably feel decent about it.

Yeah I don't get this comment, what's salty about debating what punishment, if any, Aguero will get for striking out at a fan? Is it salty to want some consistency in punishments that are handed out?

There's been salt thrown around constantly.
Every time Pep does something and isn't punished, every time Man City get away with anything, people on here go absolutely nuts.

It's as if we've all forgotten the years of favouritism Utd received under Ferguson. It tends to happen to the clubs who lead the pack.

Oh there is salt in here. Its from you. But let me guess, you aren't bothered? :funny:

To be fair since this thread is dominated by United fans I can imagine it’s off-putting for fans of other clubs to see the pretty consistent whining whenever City get something their way.

This thread is best when we have as many different participants as possible and it doesn’t turn into an MUFC group therapy session.

I would however like the record to reflect that Jose Mourinho has been an absolute saint on the disciplinary front this season while the likes of Wenger and Guardiola have been pretty petulant or downright offensive from time to time, which is ironic considering Mourinho’s continuing status as the actual devil.

The City v fan thing, they want too remember what Clough did.....

Still 0-0. I can't watch the game till later tonight. How is it going so far?

Thanks for that. I'm not sure what the right punishment for that is. The fans should be kept away from players too so it's not as clear cut as I thought it might have been.

Can't watch that video right now but it wasn't as bad as I'd thought. Not comparable with Cantona lunging into the crowd, although even then I was kind of on his side. :woot:

Let's hope they can do it.

All Chelsea actually, they’ve hit the post twice and Hazard got hold of a volley that could’ve been spectacular but it was a bit too high. Barcelona with all the possession but not threatening beyond one tentative half chance.

Barcelona will need to change a player or two or maybe their formation if they’re going to get any joy, they’re no threat at all right now while Hazard and William are looking really dangerous.

Oh right, great!

Sounds like at least a chance of the magic 1-0 at home!
