The Premier League PPV games are absolutely ludicrous & I completely refuse to pay a single penny for any of the games. I already have a Sky Sports & BT Sport subscription that costs an arm & a leg, I'm not about to start shelling out £15 extra for games that in all reality should have been always available on the red button service with Sky, Virgin Media or any of the other providers anyway as part of the subscription.

If I also even sense that Sky/BT & the Premier League are starting to get dirty with their match selection ie intentionally selecting West Brom vs Brighton, no offense to those clubs & anyone that supports them, when there are higher profile games being played on the same day in the same time slot, I'll cancel both subscriptions.

If they start putting our games behind a PPV wall, the fallout for me personally is just that I won't watch the games. If it's between shelling out an extra 15£ per game on top of the subscription to see Ole look clueless on the bench as we lose away to WBA on a rainy sunday, I'd rather take those 2 hours and do something productive. :p

Agreed, to be honest I dont even watch MOTD any more, 3 minute highlights on You Tube are enough for me now, shows you the main bits without the fluff and ex pro's spouting their opinions like they're more important than normal fans and are usually available about 10 minutes after the game finishes. Maybe I just have less free time for football these days or its the fact I pay enough to watch what I do and I refuse to pay any more which I think a lot of fans will also do.

This might be one of those rare occasions when all fans agree for once on a subject.

International breaks usually bore the pants off me but I’ll be interested in England vs Belgium in the Nations League in half an hour to measure our progress.

Belgium 1-0 up after 10 mins.

Edit: ruled out for offside. Very late flag.

Now Dier gives away a penalty against Lukaku.......who scores it.

Belgium 1-0 up.

Penalty for England.

Scored by Rashford!! 1-1 with 5 mins left till half time.

Mount gets lucky with a deflected shot to put England 2-1 up!

Finishes 2-1. Good second half by England after Belgium were the stronger team in the first.

I'm all for trying to funnel some of the money from the Premiership down into the lower divisions to perhaps help them try & close the gap between divisions, while also in theory trying to make them more financially secure.

However I'm against the plans primarily because it seems to have come from John Henry & Joel Glazer, Liverpool & United's American owners, who don't give a **** about football & are only motivated by profits.. so if they've come up with them, it must have some benefit for their greasy sausage fingers to get their hands on additional revenue as opposed to them coming up with proposed changes for the good of the overall English footballing league(s).

I don't like that certain clubs will be given special voting rights, I don't like that the league will be reduced to 18 teams, I definitely don't like the fact that they propose the team that finishes 16th will essentially get a 2nd chance at avoiding relegation. I also don't want the Community Shield scrapped either because it's traditional to kick off the English season by having the Premiership & FA Cup winners from last season compete.

As much as everyone hates these international breaks I am kind of enjoying this one, the lack of united drama for once is relaxing. Not looking forward to Newcastle rubbing the salt into the wide open and festering wound Spurs inflicted. :funny::(

Some good games elsewhere though, Everton V Liverpool could be the best one for some time. Everton win and they make a huge statement, Liverpool do and its business as usual after that Villa game.:O:funny: (very kind of them to that after our Spurs fiasco)

City v Arsenal as well could be good as well as Arsenal have had some good results against them the last few times.

Table might look very different to how it usually does after this weekend, or not....

You really need points out of the Newcastle game. You’re already 16th with a really hard run of games after us.

I prefer Nations League to random friendlies. Maybe we’ll have a chance this time without John Stones!

Yeah, some interesting games coming up.

Just heard Ronaldo has got coronavirus. :csad:

Everton - Liverpool will be a thrilling game (i hope) and i think Everton might win it, or at the very least get a draw. I think Arsenal has a decent shot at a draw against City too. Not expecting us to get 3p away to Newcastle (maybe 1p at best).

I do hope Everton Liverpool lives up to expectations after Everton’s great start. If Everton do win then that would be saying something about their prospects this season.

Hopefully Arsenal can also show more signs of improvement under Arteta by giving City a real game.

Good.

I'm more than happy if the Premier League clubs can funnel some of that wealth down into the lower leagues, however the majority of changes put forward by Henry & Glazer were dumb IMO & I feel were motivated more by the own profit potential than changes that were actually for the good of the overall English game.
