I think you might want to combo the city with something like #tdkChicago
...the rooms created are gonna be on a server with lots of other users, so a generic room named Chicago might get a little confusing.

Fair point. I'll change that. I had tested going in and out of #chicago and I was the only person there, but I'll edit the post to make it #tdkchicago then.

He means that every one of the US cities has a Baseball team. Not all of them have a football or basketball team. Baseball is what they all share in common.

And if you recall from San Diego ComiCon, the baseball bat is one of Mr J's favorite weapons.

Alright heres the skinny on me:

I've been desperately wishing to get involved with the viral, and I came close back during the "April-fools" portion but wasn't able to get the ball rolling and into my hands lol. I want to become involved any way I can even if its just an oracle. Work wise tomorrow which is the day of reckoning so to speak, I'll be working from 12:45 to 4:30, so if there is ANY way I can help I really really really really really want to. I'm glad. I spent a lot of time working out how I could work all that out for people who are unfamiliar with and uncomfortable with IRC, so I am glad it's illuminating enough. Difficult times lie ahead...and I would hate to think that I screwed them up by failing to explain something properly.

I cannot speak for other cities, they might need an oracle more than we do, but we can use you in Chicago.

The US/Canada games are pretty much in action from 5:30 EST - 8:30 EST tomorrow, so if you don't feel ready to jump in and be somebody's Oracle, or your work bars you from participating then (I don't know which time zone you're in), then you can show up in the Speakeasy http://www.gotham-speakeasy.com to hang out with peeps as the game goes down.

All right, the lovely, beautiful, wondrous and spectacular nerium has added for us links to a Mibbit browser-based IRC client on the Speakeasy IRC site (http://www.gotham-speakeasy.com--then click IRC at the top right). In my opinion this is much prettier to look at than the other (but still available) bare-bones browser-based IRC client and will be easier to use tomorrow.

I've added to my previous post instructions on the Mibbit that should be clear enough. Again, let me know if you find yourself confused. Here's a link to that post:

yes i agree, just checked it out, nice work!

And if grounders need oracles, PM me, i can add your mobile to my msn or use my friend's cell to text when i get my hands on it. Regardless i can keep you in check - will provide help to those who are paired with a goon as well, by way of assisting with possible puzzle-solving. I'm working with Seattle right now but in case i don't get much action there i'm willing to do my part for others of course.
