The answer is, and always will be, Jamie Foreman.

I wouldn't mind Tom Hanks since he said he wanted to play a bat villain. I wouldn't regularly say he fits the part but I also never expected a skinny Gotham Tv version which I think is neat.
A short, skinny Penguin I can accept because Penguin can always get fatter as he grows older. A six foot tall, skinny Penguin is more of a stretch, no pun intended.
I never understood the umbrella though with the character.
You mean with the Penguin character in general or just in the Gotham TV show? Because there is a reason why Penguin has an umbrella obsession in the comics.
Yeah. Why did the character in comics have an umbrella obsession? ( That sounds hilarious).
Dabney Coleman!
When he was a kid his father died of pneumonia after being caught in a severe rain shower. Since that his mother used to force him to carry an umbrella all the time. One day he was being picked on by bullies and he used the umbrella as a weapon to hurt them. Ever since he's used them as weapons.
True
Then the little **** unleashes what they're really made of![]()
I'm sure nuts entertAining in comics but I'd hate to see a villain using umbrella weapons on screen. It just sounds silly to me.
Not really. I'm actually quite open to it, which is why Michael Emerson is my top choice for the role.Is anyone else sick of this trend of making Penguin skinnier and skinnier ? First Gotham had him looking like the front man of an emo band, now the Telltale series has him looking like a male model.
