Only reason why I doubt Sionis is that “Robert” guy is the casting call is accepting actors into their 40’s for it. Roman should be Rob/Bruce’s age.

Plenty of older actors still look young, and it doesn't seem like they're gonna be pairing Sionis with this Bruce too much. Personally I don't see an issue.

The perfect choice for Rupert Thorne in the 90’s and 2000’s would have been Phillip Baker Hall. And by now, if he wasn’t gone, i’d be championing Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

If it’s Sionis (and I really don’t think it is, but I’ll entertain the idea) then Christopher Abbott would be a great choice. For Dent or Sionis really. But he wouldn’t be able to make it for the summer though.

The first actor that came to mind when I read the description was Michael Mando. Right down to him being in great shape. Must be all the Better Call Saul I’ve been watching lately. I know we say Zsasz or Deadshot for Mando but he’d work as Roman or an original character too.

Thought he was miscast in Newark. It turned me off from wanting to see him as a gangster. Wouldn’t be mad if he was cast but I think they can get someone who fits Sionis better.

I actually thought he had passed away. But I'm thinking at 90 years old he's just a tad too old to play Thorne.

I've wanted "Charlie from GIRLS" in a Batman movie since like 2012.
