Just the idea of Clayface alone showing up has me even more excited than I already was.
I'm very curious as to how Reeves would depict Clayface, given the realism of the first film.
- The producers revealed False Face’s real name to be Basil Karlo, who traditionally took the Clayface identity. The reason they chose Karlo as False Face’s identity was because Clayface was originally intended to be the villain of the episode, and would have been able to mold his face into as a disguise due to his powers. The episode was reworked to include False Face.
- False Face later returned in the Batman '66 comic series, which not only confirmed his identity but transformed his character into Clayface.
Or something like the killer in Body Double who uses prosthetics as a mask. The killer is also an actor like Basil Karlo. Sorry for spoiling lol.

Yess, Dressed to Kill was inspired by Hitchcock's Psycho as well.i just read the wiki for this and it totally has a hitchcock / vertigo influence to it.
and thats right up matt reeves' alley.
Actually it's mostly Rear Window. Obsession (1976) is the Vertigo rip-off.i just read the wiki for this and it totally has a hitchcock / vertigo influence to it.

Planning to watch it this weekend. I've had the film in my shortlist for a while now.DePalma owes a lot to Hitchcock. Speaking of DePalma, I saw a lot of Blow Out in The Batman.

Travolta for Hugo Strange!
I still love the Rufus Sewell suggestion for Clayface. Maybe Elias Koteas could work for Karlo too.

i think that's a given.Hopefully we will heard something about this show on Wednesday during WBD's upfront presentation.
