I haven't been on this thread in almost a year, but I just wanted to thank you guys for all the advice I got last year when I got my DSLR camera. I've gotten much more practice with RAW and have come up with better looking pics. My girlfriend was a big help by letting me take pics of her whenever we went out and she's shared some of the pics I took of her and people have really liked them.

I'm actually going to do two photo shoots tomorrow for a friend of hers and his friend, and I'll be getting paid a little something for it so all the practice is slowly starting to pay off.

Here are some pics that I'm really proud of.I'm noticing that even with my new camera, and finally learning how to shoot with RAW last year, there are still edits I have to make to fix things like color and lighting, but I've definitely seen improvement in my work since I got my camera last year.
