Thalidomide,

Sorry for the late response, but yes, I do love the colors. Very eye catching. Good job! =)

That last one I took over my shoulder while having no idea what was actually in the viewfinder. :o

Here's a little set I put together for a Valentine's gift. I've not used Flickr before, so hopefully the link works. Unfortunately I don't know how to post a preview image here, does Flickr not allow that?

For a little context, my girlfriend has always been adamant that if she lived in the Star Wars universe she'd have joined the Rebels. I've always been a stern believer in joining the Empire.

Love the colour in that first shot Asteroid-Man.

Thanks James! It was hard working with these - expired film gives the image a very washed out look. Essentially what I've been doing is pushing up the contrast, without losing too much detail, and fixing the loss of blue (also due to expiration). That sunset had an orange filter over the actual lens. There should be another one that I digitised.

It's just a pain because I scanned them on trays and they picked up a lot of dust. So before even attempted to restore the colour/brightness/contrast, I have to heal the image.

Tomorrow I'm buying a new lens for myself. Nikon 70-300mm VR IF ED. I recently got an L-Bracket for my heavy Nikon D2x. That should help a lot when I attach it to my monopod.

I haven't posted in this thread in god knows how long.

Welcome back! This one really stands out for me, I think just cause of challenge of getting right exposure without blowing or going to dark. I think this is going to be my next attempt at photography, to be honest.

Nice work as always, tho.

Not a photograph but a painting based on one I took of my youngest nephew.

Been a whole since I posted. I'm trying out my new Sony DHR-CX210 Handy Cam's still photo option.
