I know gay couples who have raised heterosexual children. I have NEVER met a homosexual couple who has raised their children to be homosexuals, nor have I ever met a kid who had two gay parents who has turned out to be gay [granted I only know four gay couples with adult children, but that's beside the point].

Homosexuality is not a choice, deal with it.

They shouldn't be raised to hate homosexuals, either...but they should be taught that it's the sin they're fighting, not the person. As Scripture often says, "Hate the sin, but love the sinner." These days, it seems like many homosexual advocates are saying, "Love the sinner by leaving the sin alone." That's not how it works with God, and it shouldn't be happening with us, either.

In teaching kids that sin actually exists, and that absolute truth is real (regardless of popular opinion), we strengthen their moral resolve. in the modern age, people seem to think that all we need are human-created ethics, and human-created morals, but that's not true. This world is dangerous, rampant with all sorts of sin and temptation...and people (children especially) need an allegiance higher than humanity to properly navigate it.

Because there's a line in a book written thousands of years ago that could be interperted as gay is bad. So by people choosing to be gay (because it's a choice, unlike being straight) it's hurting their faith in that book. Thus hurting them.
