That was the title of a post that I saw when I was on the IMDb message boards sometime last year. Just to humor myself I decided to read this morons post, and oh my God this guy was pretty much on a different planet. He was saying how Frank Castle would buy kryptonite from Lex Luthor, kill him, and then he said how Frank would talk to Lois about Superman and somehow find out that Clark was Superman. Just before I laughed myself to tears he said something about kryptonite bullets and spiking Clarks morning coffee with kryptonite juice. So I said to myself ok if Punisher couldn't take Venom(See Funeral Pyre)what makes this guy think that Punisher could take Superman?

While I do realt get tired of the ______ VS ______ threads, I have got to say whoever said this is just begging for attention. I mean come on, Superman has had plenty of people, more clever and cunning than Castle attempt to end his life, Hell Doomsday punched a hole through his chest and he still came back with a shining silver S-Sheild doned across his chest and beat the living crap out of him! Hell Batman has even tried to off big blue a time or two for various reasons and still been unable or unwilling to see it through, and lets face it Bats has a mentality far beyond Castle's limitied aptitude. So in all honesty I have to say.........find whoever said this, put powdered glass in his coffe, and draw a huge S-Sheild on his chest after he has died.........

Olcanucklehead I think some people are such big fans of certain characters that their character of choice will beat anybody no matter what. Putting powdered glass in his coffee isn't necessarily my style I would use x-lax, but if it were a chick who posted this I would put powdered birth control pills in her coffee.

What I never liked about these types of scenarios, is that no matter how one-sided a fight may seem, it all comes down to the writer.
I've seen people argue till they were blue in the face about the stupidest stuff, and to no avail!

Yeah a favor to you, me, and the rest of humanity. But yeah I have to agree with you on how it all comes down to the writer, I mean after all we've got comics like Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe, and another that talks about Superman and Batman ruling the world as Gods. I'm aware that the Punisher comic I just mentioned is a what if comic but it still makes me laugh real hard.

The new War Journal is comedy in itself, the author doesnt know KackOn about Punisher, and writes him as a dimwitted foul tempered, demonstrative Wolverine type.

You really want to know how a Punisher vs Superman comic would go?

Just like any other ______ vs Punisher crossover goes:

Superman would beat up the Punisher and then tell him that he's no better than the criminals. The end.

ha, ha, ha! I could actually see kryptonite bullets. Punisher could be some type of hitman for hire and Luthor could hire him to take out supes. He'd give him kryptonite bullets and have them in regular bullet casings. Frank would walk up to him like the guy in SR and shoot him in the eye. LMAO!

Or Supes could just fly behind him and break his neck. Or Batman and Punisher could have a contest to see who was the better non-powered vigilante who could beat a superpowered vigilante. Punisher is quick enough to shoot spidey's web-blasters. Plus he out did wolverine. daredevil, and spidey with just brain power. then tricked hulk into beating the snot out of them. Because it's a comic book and every character is badass in their own book. Supes winds up in marvel land he'll get owned and same with punisher in DC. Kryptonite bullets? LMAO! I actually thought of that one time too! LOL!

^WTFLOL? It's the punisher. He's the only guy in the marvel U who can adapt to any superhero if needed. Tony stark looks him up on file, finds his weakness, uses his brain power to come up with a chemical compound seeing as how kryptonite is real now, and but it in one of those suits of his. Or, let frank do the dirty work. It's comics, anything can happen.
