How good this film will be?

Whether the film will be excellent, can only be determined (and subjectively I may add) come release date on March 25th. However, I think the concern, might not stem from, whether this film will be good? But will it be too much of a departure from the usual?

I have been feeling that this Batman V Superman, will be a strong variation from the more generic. The (most likely a minority) Studio Suits concern, maybe that this film will have a little more depth and introspection than the general superhero genre fare. It may offer a revisionist take of the genre, alienating (no pun) those looking for just explosions and straight-forward black-and-white characterization.

Thus the polarization may occur from those who just don’t understand what the filmmakers are trying to achieve. However, I do believe, that the audience, is more intelligent (most of the of time) than what they are given credit for, and it will be a success, not only because of the gimmick of two super titans clashing, but also the subtle depth of story and the examination of conflicting ideals.

I think it's too early to make claims either way. Could it be just an "action film" with lots of spectacle? Maybe. Is it a film with supposed "depth"? Maybe. The proof in the pudding despite any rumors or hopes from the fans, is in the tasting.

I think the asthetic of the film will be more in keeping with Snyder's Watchmen than MoS, which will be the 'departure' that takes into the solo films and the two JL films.

I really do think we are on the cusp of something very special with these films, I say this not just through hope as a die-hard DC fan, someone who has waited their entire life for what will unfolding in the next few years but from a genuine feeling we'll get a really solid film.

It's going to he subjective either way. Best you can do is share your interpretation with someone else that watched. Unless it's shallow asf. In which case you don't have to bother.

The quality of the movie is certainly subjective.

The quality of this thread is not. This thread is objectively stupid. And now it is objectively closed.
