The only score and opinion that matters is mine, period.

Posting again for the new page:

Can I please have confirmation of when the review embargo lifts?

Okay, so I'm confused again. Steven Weintraub of Collider first tweeted this:

https://***********/colliderfrosty/status/710509941002350592

to those asking, BATMAN V SUPERMAN is embargoed until Tuesday, March 22 at 3:00pm pst. I will not say anything until then.

But in his next tweet he says this:

https://***********/colliderfrosty/status/710696195857915904

home from a movie. prepping for BATMAN V SUPERMAN interviews tomorrow. Embargo lifts Tuesday at 6pm PST. I'll have a lot to say then.

Read the first two replies on that tweet; when someone commented that it's actually 3pm PST, Steven clarifies that it was changed to 6.

It's because of the twitter storm caused by some critics who weren't able to see the movie last week. They changed the time so the ones who will watch it tmr afternoon will be able to put up their reviews the same time as others.

Yes it was pushed back.

I see, thanks.

Tensor, so that makes the start of the Rotten Tomatoes onslaught 6:30 am IST, right?

Yea Wednesday 6:30am IST is when the hippie-meter dam breaks. Personally I don't care about it.

Cool.

This film scrapes past 75% to be certified fresh, and Jokes & I shall celebrate.

And so a day came like no other...
A day that perhaps, beyond any other, would be the most decisive in deciding the future fortunes of the DCEU.

They can only push the embargo back so far, but they can't hide from it.
Tonight, the the truth will be revealed.

Good movie, bad movie, somewhere in between.... ?
I can't think of a film in the history of CBM were so much hangs on this score.

I've got my popcorn ready, this thread is going to be delicious.
Final prediction = 64%.

How long does it take for the RT score to settle usually?

At least a week, but you can usually tell pretty early on (first day) how it will all pan out by the ratio of fresh vs rottens.

I've got the $500 bottle of Mountain Dew to celebrate just in case.

Mountain Dew? Yessss :woot:

Well from the screening reactions it seems like the film will be fine, so yeah, something in the mid 70's maybe low 80's is looking likely.

You know for an added measure form of good luck mojo, today i'm gonna watch both Dawn of the Dead and Argo.

Snyder's highest rated movie on RT and Terrio's Oscar winning written movie.

Kinda like a good luck charm of film.

I hope it scores well, will be good to have healthy competition in the CBM world to have a solid DC universe on the go, something for everyone then.

Looking forward to seeing it even though I haven't really kept up with the production on this one and slightly more pumped by the SS trailers, might be a good thing mind, be some nice surprises.

Anything over 75% is surely a positive start?

Well Dawn of the Dead is Snyder's highest rated movie on RT at 75%.

Surpassing his own RT record would be a huge win.

Kind of like how GOTG became Gunn's highest rated film.

I'm still surprised at how good GOTG ended up being, because I didn't think Gunn's previous films were very good. They almost felt more like guilty pleasures to me than good films; Super had a chance at being great but it felt to me like he didn't know how to conclude it. And Slither was kinda fun but not something I've ever felt the need to see a second time. But GOTG knocked it out of the park in pretty much every way possible.
