Im not exactly sure what his first fight was about, I know it was a job from Bangun but who was it that he killed?
Tbh, I have no idea whom he killed either
t: But this fight scene is necessary as an introduction to his character and his fighting skill.

But couldn't they have achieved that anyways when Bat Boy and Hammer Girl went on a massacre, such a scene could've served the same purpose. So what I'm saying is the character of Prakoso himself just didn't feel all that necessary, especially when we see scenes of his personal life that just pads the runtime.
But BBM and HG needed a reason to attack the Japanese gang ?
His personal life scene serves the purpose so that audience would feel sympathy for him in the 2nd fight. Also gives reason why Bangun wasn't provoked by Uco's words about starting a war with the Goto clan. Bangun said something like "Prakoso doesn't give a damn about other people's business, he only wants money, he only cares about his family"

All in all, I do think this movie has too many characters. The story might fit better as a miniseries.
That said, I love the story and characters, though.
Evans' original cut was 3 hours, afterall. The producers persuaded him to cut down some of the scenes.
Deleted scenes including [BLACKOUT]Rama beating up the politician's son in a night club before he was arrested.[/BLACKOUT]
