Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The RATINGS Thread

Theres no way they don't do a second season. If ABC doesn't want it Netflix should pick it up.

Lowest yet if it holds.
Lowest so far in total viewers, yes, but not the lowest in the 18-49 rating (which I believe is really what's looked at). Episodes 4 & 5 both hit a 1.3

Oh, ok. The strength of this series is in the later DVR viewings anyway.

I think that's only because most of the biggest/most popular shows are between Monday & Wednesday and everyone can't watch both. I will admit that the only episode I caught live was the first.

I work evening shift, unless I happen to have that day off I am always going watch it the next day on Hulu.

I don't even own a TV so I watch everything online on my laptop after it's aired(usually the same night).

I've no idea. I use a foreign site. They usually have stuff posted withing 2-3 hrs after airing.
If at all possible, try to watch it on ABC.com or on Hulu if you need to stream it since traffic to those sites 'counts'/is looked at where as with foreign/non-official sites it won't. ;)

Well ABC.com seems to only have clips rather than the whole episodes. If they actually DO offer the whole episodes I didn't see it the few times I went there to try and watch the show. Hulu is all muddled with being a pay site or not. I've used them before but it gets mixed up with Hulu plus somehow. I watch the CW shows on the CW's app and that works just fine for those shows with no signing up or any kind of junk like that. I wish ABC worked so well and was as user friendly. Hulu as well. I'm not going to pay to watch these shows. This ain't HBO. I'll endure commercials fine though and that's how the CW app works and at least it's simple and straight forward.

Don't post URLs to bootleg sites!

Well, the Live + 7 ratings for the week of 2/2-2/8 were released which should include episode 5 (The Iron Ceiling) but for some reason Agent Carter is not listed in the figures.:huh:

Not sure why, the previous time I've seen that happen before was with Season 1 of Agents of SHIELD episode 18 because (from what I had understood at the time) it originally aired at a different time than usual (though perhaps I was wrong in my understanding/there's a different reason why they don't show up). As far as I'm aware, Episode 5 of AC didn't have that issue (pretty sure it aired at it's regularly scheduled time that day).

So if anyone is able to find/figure out what Episode 5's Live + 7 ratings are, I'd love to see them so I can keep my list in the initial post up to date :)

AC dipped back down to a 1.3 for the finale in initials/overnights (one thing to note, The Voice started back up this week with 2 hours of blind auditions both on Monday and Tuesday meaning AC had the 2nd half of TV to contend with this week - AOS had some problems with this as well at the beginning of S2, doing a bit better once TV went to it's normal 1 hour Tuesday eps after the auditions were over - so this could be a factor as to why AC dipped this week)

Agent Carter
18-49 Rating: 1.3
Viewers (millions): 4

I hope AoS doesn't come back to these lower ratings
not that 1.3 is that much lower than 1.5, but SHIELD has to hold onto every viewer it can

I don't know if they'll come in 1.3 low, but I could see 1.5 or so (as opposed to the 1.7 that "What they Become" (ep10) was) a possibility.

The 2 hour eps of the Blind Auditions on The Voice tend to run about 6 episodes or so (so about 3 weeks with it being on twice a week). So Eps 11 and 12 of AOS may have to contend with that 2nd hour of The Voice (it's annoying, believe me, I know, we actually like The Voice but man do the Blind Auditions screw up our viewing & DVR schedule on Tuesdays). I do think there's enough of an overlap in viewership that it affects it - I imagine most people are inclined to continue watching into the 2nd hour of The Voice (rather than cut it off halfway through) and just catch up on AC (or AOS) later on DVR. I will say my family does do it the other way though, we go ahead and cut off the Blind Auditions halfway through the ep on Tuesdays and switch to ABC - we'll then catch up on the back half of the auditions later/the next day

Its a different show and it left on quite a shocker. ABC has been promoting the hell of the premiere and I think people will tune in to see what they are doing with the inHuman plotline,

Typically it's the 18-49 rating that gets the main focus on ratings. So AC did a 1.0 on the 1st episode, 0.9 for the 2nd. So seems some favored to tune out for whatever reason (reasons could range from not interested, to having to call an early night due to an early work day and so DVR-ing the 2nd episode to catch up on later). It'll be interesting to see the +3 and +7 numbers.

Also, it looks like it was kind of a low night across the board on all the networks.

A 1.0 and 0.9 is really, really, really bad.

I have been pessimistic about this show's chances for a season three but even I expected a 1.2 or 1.3 for the premiere.
