The Flash the REAL Jay Garrick is revealed-spoiler inside-proceed with caution

I'm so excited to see him be Flash again. And it sounds like he's going to be in Legends of Tomorrow.

For me, personally, as an actor, Henry Allen was rather closed-ended, he was there for a purpose, he served his purpose, it was time for him to die. The fact that I’m now getting to morph into an entirely different character that is so important to the Justice Society of America, which also bleeds into Legends of Tomorrow, he’s such an important character to this whole world – it just opens up enormous possibilities for me as an actor going forward, and the challenge for me, having played Henry, is that I now get to create an entirely different character going forward. And how that affects Barry – because Barry’s going to want to lean on this guy who looks just like his father but is not his father – that can create a whole bunch of psychological conflict too. I’m as excited as you are to see how all of this will play out.

Honestly, I would just ditch LoT and start up a JSA show with JWS as Jay Garrick Flash.

Yeah, this thread should be either retitled or deleted.

The whole man in the iron mask was the big mystery of season 2 after Zoom's identity. Someone already spoiled it in another thread yesterday only a few hours after it aired, meaning that the finale had no big reveal at all. Not everyone gets to watch it live on the night.

It's very inconsiderate to post these spoilers just because they can't contain their excitement or don't even think about others.

Isn't the title still a spoiler? Many speculated that the man in the iron mask was just Eddie or Wally, and not Jay at all, but that he was simply warning Barry about Jay (aka Hunter/Zoom) when he tapped his name on the glass. Knowing that the real Jay has been revealed can only mean that he was probably the man in the mask.

Yeah, not the most flattering costume, a more loose fitting jacket and cloth pants would probably work wonders for it.

I do hope they tweak the costume.
It wasn't bad but it could definitely be better.
Just ditching the all leather pants would do a lot I think.
A mix of leather and another material like Flash's costume looks best imo

I think it would have been cool if the made the lighting bolt on his chest more closely resemble the one on the 90's suit.

The 90's suit still holds up pretty well. The lighting bolt seems a bit too stuck on, but overall it's pretty good. Wouldn't mind seeing Barry visit that version of Flash on another earth.

Ive been thinking of it and it occurred to me that they [the producers] seem to have wanted certain similiarities/parallels with Barrys costume, like in style, material etc. Story-wise, Zolomans Flash outfit was entirely inspired by his dads uniform so it was almost entirely unrelated to Jays costume, which I guess existed first? But yeah, I dug Zolomans costume more - the whole retro/rocketeer look aesthetic kicked ass.

Nah Henry Jay had the superior costume even if it did look a little big on him; it looked even better than the Flash's/Barry's suit with how vibrant its colors were.
