And the REmake. Still love that damn REmake.

Capcom should just "reboot" this series and by "reboot" i mean just release an HD version of Zero and the REmake, then REmake 2 in the same style as Zero and the REmake then they can REmake 3 and Code Veronica in the same styles as Zero, the REmake and the REmake of RE2. Yea.

I like this idea.

They remake 2,3 and CV, not just an HD re-release or a direct import like they did for 2 and 3 for GC, then start a new plotline from there with 4,5,6 being the "old RE". AND BRING BARRY BACK!

The last few bits of news have actually made me even more excited for this.

Yea but you are forgetting how awful the demo is.

Apparently. I have yet to play it so i can't say one way or the other.

As I said many times, "the demo isn't always repesentive of the main game." you've seen that enough times to know it's true of resent games that come out pat. be they having put out old but recent builds or cercumstances. We'll just have wait and see how this turns out though .

Oh i absolutely know thats true. Thats why i think the people whining about the demo should calm down. Battlefield 3 was a good example.

I wish I could play it. Any Dragon's Dogma owners (360) not want their demo code?

Why didn't you just update your earlier post?

I'm sure someone has mentioned this already but have you guys noticed that Chris Redfield has lost a significant amount of muscle mass. I mean the guy is still pretty big but I like how the story shows him rotting away drinking and his body shows that he hasn't exactly been hitting the gym as much as he was at the time of RE5.

Dude was a monster during RE5:

RE6:

I like how they pay attention to nuances like that.

hehe Craig he only bulked up like that so he can take on wesker. ( so he thought) Now that his supposed main foe is dead, There's no need for it. Hell even the res wiki which square controls says this. (not the no need part I mentioned. the former) you might also want to consider that hearing and seeing fans make comments on steroids with chris's name might have bugged them a little too.

Hopefully we won't be punching any boulders.

My fav depiction of Chris is still the REmake Chris.

Yes I'm aware. I was just pointing out that he didn't keep that amount of mass.

Whatever Capcom's intentions were the drop in weight for Chris works for the story they're telling in RE6.

It's definitely more actiony, but I'm pleased that everything appears to still have a pretty deliberate pace to it. The guns look like they have a lot of muzzle climb, you don't move very fast while aiming, in fact it looks like you don't move too fast at any time.

I suspect that if Capcom keeps Resident Evil on this trajectory then RE7 will probably be my breaking point with the series, but for now RE6 seems like it has just enough of what I like about Resident Evil for me to enjoy it.
