It would still be worth Capcom's time to do another Remake & tell Nintendo to suck it & get a full proper Resident Evil collection out there

You're assuming they would be willing to do the work to get that done though. I asked on the Ask Capcom forum why there weren't any classic Mega Man games on XBLM, while the PSN Store and whatever the Wii store is called had plenty of them. The answer I got back was that it would require work to port them to 360. Probably not even a lot of work, but the fact that it would require any effort at all meant they simply weren't going to do it.

So yeah, Capcom doesn't seem to want to go even an inch out of their way to port games to other consoles, much less do a proper remake.

then why hasn it come to the Wii? I wonder whats up bc Capcom more than anyone as a company loves to keep making money off heir titles with multiple re-releases and putting stuff on as many systems as possible. Im really surprised Remake never did come to the Wii

This is 100% off topic, but I'm assuming anyone posting in a Resident Evil thread has at least a mild interest in horror games, so if you guys have access to a PC that can run or if you have OnLive you should totally play Amnesia. It's super scary.

Ported to the Wii or the NGC discs can be used on that device? I know my cousin owns a gamecube, a Wii and both those games, we used Gamecube controllers on the Wii to play NGC games

This is Resident Evil: Zero on the Wii. They just for some reason never did 2 or 3

I just wish they would put 2 & 3 on the Wii. It would be nice to have some kind of complete retail collection of the main games. I guess the Gamecube will be the only system. With all of the main games

It would've been cool had they shown up in RE5 or even now in 6

I don't mind that Billy and Carlos disappeared. They are basically just a poor man's Chris.

As for Barry and Rebecca, it is reasonable to assume Barry's fate from his RE3 epilogue. He helped Chris and Jill take down Umbrella and then retired to spend out his days with his wife and daughters. We know that he is alive due to the history files in RE5 (the history files list him as one of the four surviving STARS members alongside Chris, Jill and Rebecca....now one could argue that this only means survivors of the Spencer Estate outbreak, but Brad also survived and he is not listed so we can assume this means presently alive). So yeah, Barry is probably just retired.

Rebecca is a bit trickier as she has no epilogue. For the aforementioned reason we know that she is also alive but beyond that we have no clue what she is up to. Whether she helped the other STARS take down Umbrella or not is anyone's guess. I personally think a good way to address her would have been in Degeneration. When Leon shows up at the airport, there is a scene with him talking to the emergency medical personnel on scene. There seems to be some agency in the RE-verse that is tasked with handled emergency medical response for Umbrella bio-attacks. They should've just made Rebecca one of the doctors that Leon speaks to. It would be a fitting place for her in the RE-world.

I would have liked Rebecca to have been in RE6 as someones partner or as a main character. RE6 should have been their opportunity to bring full circle closure to all the characters.
