Not really. It's aesthetically different, but it's the exact same layout.

Yea i pretty much got that from the demo. Wasnt a fan of it then either. Dont think a Resident Evil game should allow you to carry a Sniper rifle, plus a standard rifle, plus a magnum, plus a handgun. Outside of those small gripes im bummed about the lack of exploration, which is prob a big reason for the default speed being a jog. This game seems to push you towards the end faster than any game prior. I am having a lot of fun tho, Leon still kicks all kinds of ass. Deff have enjoyed what iv played so far. The enemies have also been pretty cool after the really bland enemies from 5.

That's what I meant by saying slightly though. Only in looks . But nothing more then that.

Any one else pick up that Ada capaign DLC with her new AI partner yet?

I'm playing Jake's campaign in Resident Evil 6. How much info will I get on Neo Umbrella in this game, and are there any files explaning the BOWs I encounter? Ustanak is great; reminds me of Nemesis, and the zombified-gigantes I fought with the BSAA early in the campaign were cool.

For those that beat it and without any spoilers, how would u rate the campaigns? Is Leon's far and away the best?

If you like the old atmosphere, you'll enjoy Leon's. Jake's feels like Resident Evil 5. Haven't done Chris' yet. I'd give Leon's an 8.5 and Jake's an 8. The graphics seem like a stepdown from Resident Evil 5 though.

It would be leon's and Ada's is on equel footing. if your not counting the recent DLC with her DLC partner. Then it's Ada's. so yeah leon's is on the top. Ada's campaign will remind you the most Re4 and the puzzles are the best there. other then her's and leon are the best there in the game.

Beat Leon's campaign, pretty much enjoyed it from start to finish. Still can't grasp the reasons why Capcom made some of the zombies use weapons. Why are the classic RE zombies not good enough? Hope the other campaigns are as fun.

I'm still waiting for the Gold Edition.

Has the DLC been release that changes the camera, and tweaks some other things? I read about it a while back and it was supposed to be released in Dec I think?

that was suppose to have come out with the one that added Ada's AI partner. no one here seems to have touched it yet. I have seen much on other places yet ether.

I still find it amusing that they even have to release DLC that fixes stuff like the camera. Have they play tested this at all?

I have no idea, but i didnt have any camera issues during Leons campaign.

the only things from capcom that I've seen tested is mostly street fighter games. I have to have seen res titles and others be tested. that doesn't mean it doesn't happen though.

Wait... This "DLC" that fixed everything or whatever... I assume it's free?

Played this for a few hours last night and boy am I glad I gave it a chance. It's far from the best Resident Evil I played... But so far the Leon parts feel like old school RE meets a Michael Bay action scene.

I know that may not be "great" in terms of RE... But as a game its pretty fun.

If the next game takes the things done right (btw the improved camera helps) in this game only make it even more "classic" I'll be a happy camper.

Yea I felt the same way. Really enjoyed Leon's campaign(haven't played the others yet). I didn't find the game unnerving at all tho, but I'm not sure if that's because I was playing with someone, had a ton of weapons or the game just isn't scary. Anyone play the game alone? What did u think?

Is the AI in the final game as bad as it is in the demo? I just played the Jake segment and as Sherry, I went ahead and was waiting for Jake in order to open a door together. Of course he;s nowhere to be found except aimlessly running around in the previous area. After 10 minutes of not knownig what to do, I realize I had to go back and open a door for him so he can come through. Problem is the game never told me, I had to do that and the idiot didnt mention it when my character called out to him. Instead he kept running into the door as if he was Shadowcat from X-men, thinking he was gonna phase through

Ok that made me laugh 5 times before answering this. You don't have to head back to pick those AI partners up. they are supposed to respawn next to you eventually the further ahead you get and reach a certain sequence. just keep moving forward.

lol So Jake acts like dog chasing his own tale. Interesting.

Sometimes you have to let them in if something is blocking them. I'm pretty sure you can hold down a button which lets you look through your partners eyes
