from what was said on the capcom owned and runned Wika He was obsessed with Ada's skills as a Agent cause of her ability's and what she was able to pull off as a from a young age to make her that i . She was very exceptional in that occupation. in other words he has the same issues as Mister sinister has for slightly different reasons.

Simmons was involved with the original umbrella corp. which means they obviously didn't get every one involved and there are Alot of stranglers around, which was hinted in the movie that starred Leon, that lead to this games events . And that those stranglers are all doing their own thing with making B.O.W's and are willing to take each other out to to further their agenda's.

The latter part I'm implying cause that's what makes sense to me out of what that movie showed.

I'm sure Simmons sent Carla there and had carla look like Ada and she did what she did to help further the chaos.

Thanks. So Carla, essentially the main villain of RE6, has her motivations revealed via Wika? That is just very lame.

And it's as I thought. One of the best teasers before RE6 came out was the idea that the POTUS would reveal the "truth" about Raccoon City and it was so explosive that someone wanted to stop him (I guess Simmons....though he didn't want an outbreak in China because it would destabilize the world but killing the POTUS and a whole American city doesn't?!). But we never really learn that truth.

Ugh. When you have four different campaigns made by different groups, the story just gets muddled. It has never been the strongest point of the series, but this is the first time I had no idea why things were happening even after the game ended.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. No when Carla was made to look like Ada by Simmons due to his obsession with Ada, she was brain washed to think that she was his Ada wong, at that point she was a victim. yeah he named an entire project to make another Ada. He's that weird/ Nuts.

Before that she was just a researcher that worked for him to make more virus's. As for why Simmons wanted the president silenced I'm not really sure why that was necessary it's not like what took place in raccoon city would have been traced back to him now. and it's obvious there are others still around doing what he's doing too and making them selves more known.

He told his reason in chapter 4's train fight if I recall. Something about not wanting the U.S. to lose it's power in the world should the Raccoon City incident's truth be made public.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. And I see why I did . That makes no sense. I must have wrote that off as a stupid reason and chose to forget that.

We know he did it, but what is this "truth" about Raccoon City that we don't know? Even by the game is is vague and unknown, thereby making the entire reason this all happened a mystery. Same with why he wanted to turn a gifted prodigy into an Ada Wong clone. Is Ada Wong really that super-special? Why not just buy her services, then? It's gotta' be cheaper than creating a perfect genetic clone that costs you one of your best researchers.

Also, am I crazy but is that Carla in the tank that Ada kills at the end of her game? Kind of the residue of her left after birthing "Ada?"

Anyway, I replayed the first two chapters of Leon's Campaign yesterday and I forgot just how bloody good they were. Chris and Jake's campaigns left such a bad taste in my mouth, I forgot that the game starts really great. Perhaps a bit too fast paced to let true horror to set in, but it was fun, addictive and felt like Resident Evil. I do not get why Capcom runs away from this unique setting.

when he saw Ada at some training course and saw what she was capable of as an agent and when he asked her to be his personal agent she down right refused him she must of saw his obsession starting to grow there already when she was younger. He really must have had a crazed look when ever he saw her.

As for the gifted prodigy that was carla while she was working for him there were a lot of failed experiments and from all the mutations they made even though he still used them to cause trouble with . whatever he was looking for from those projects he just wasn't happy with them. I don't know maybe he wanted a better version of wesker to use on mass with other people.

I guess he just got tired and wanted one of his other projects to finally work and s made the chose to finish his special Ada wong birthing project.

As for the series it's it's cause they lost two element's they lost the founding father. who had the vision of what fear is in the series and cause they lost a certain game studio that made the Res series contemporary game play wise when it was on the game cube . and that dev studio is really in demand right now.

Finally played some of the demo, played as Jake and Leon campaigns
It's fun imo, but some parts of the screen in Leon's campaign are too dark
I consider ignoring this game
Campaign partner, inventory and status in danger here are MUCH better than they are in RE5

That's exciting. More re-play value is always a welcome edition

some of you will dread this. But it's happening

Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 Dead 2 cross over at 0 additional cost

This spring, Left 4 Dead 2 characters, including the survivors and the Witch and Mini Tank infected, will make their way into Resident Evil 6's The Mercenaries No Mercy mode, while enemies from RE6 (Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman) will appear in Left 4 Dead 2.

RE6 owners will get to play the new content in that game starting April 5, while the L4D2 update will arrive in a more Valve Time-compliant "spring" release window. Both crossovers will be free to download for owners of either game.

There, now the stuff with the Xi3 computer is no longer the most baffling news to come out of Valve in the last month. Continue Reading

^Might be a positive sign in favor of the remake of RE2

I don't get that from the article at all. They'll make the old PC games run on current operating systems. That's all.

Listening to PC gamers is hopefully a step toward listening to the remake demands

Anyone else getting Revelations next month? I got mine pre-ordered for the Wii U.

Not sure whether I should get that one first, or RE6
I'm waiting for the right time

RE6 is kinda terrible. If you have to chose between the two, go with Revelations.

Matt knows what he's talking about. Besides, Revelations is an interquel/sidestory that takes place before RE5 anyway.

I like the demo of RE6, so I will eventually get it
As I asked, and your answers inspired, I'll get Revelations first

If you dig the demo and are really into RE6, wait until it's crazy cheap. I was dumb enough to pay full price and regretted it.
