I swear if Capcom would just give Resident Evil 2 the REmake treatment, I would never complain about, or ask for, another Resident Evil thing from them again.

Still haven't played the game. What's the deal with Jake? Was he conceived through natural means, or is he a test tube baby?
The saddest part of RE6 is that there is brilliance in here. Leon's final chapter, riding through the streets in the humvee, as zombies claw at your car, crawl on the hood, emerge from the fog, surrounding you, etc....it is horrifying. It is classic Resident Evil. Then three seconds later you are back in a Michael Bay movie. :-/

The writing in RE6 is so effin inconsistent. One moment Chris is all, "Boo hoo, my redshirts died." Then out of nowhere he decides that he has a debt to settle with Wesker's son as the facility around them is exploding. "Shoot me, you have every right to." Really? Because you killed his psychotic father who was trying to destroy the world, he has every right to shoot you!?!? REALLY!?!? And it isn't like Jake knew who killed his father. There was absolutely no reason for Chris to bring it up. It is just so out of left field.
What's unfortunate is that the creature design in this game is top notch as are some of the atmospheres (I can't wait to see how that hack Paul Anderson ****s them up). With better writing and more consistent gameplay (i.e. creating one solid game rather than four distinct ones), this could've been one of the best Resident Evils.
