If the REmake of 2 goes to the Wii exclusively, ill buy a Wii. Thats what it'll take for me to get one of those little things.

Capcom is announcing that Wii owners are going to be "very happy, very soon" in regards to Resident Evil

It also seems that Code Veronica is headed to the Wii, expect an announcement on whether or not it's a port or a genuine remake on March 12:

A new/remade RE on the Wii with the RE4 control set-up would excite me more than RE5 currently is.

Not that I have anything against RE5, but the Wii controller is absolutely perfect for an RE game (see RE4: Wii Edition).

RE:Code Veronica would be nice, but an RE2 remake would make me **** my pants.

Famistu is listing Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles, a sequel to Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii.

Compared to House of the Dead, and other arcade titles that it was trying to emulate, it was pretty crap.

Ugh. They tease for a RE2-Make and hit us with a sequel to UC, which was a cool game...but not really one that warrants a sequel. What are we going to do? Shoot our way through the Spencer Estate and Raccoon City...again? This one will probably do RE2, CV, and maybe 4...but still :

I'm calling dick move on Capcom's part. They spend the past two weeks talking about happy Resident Evil fans/Wii owners are going to be and hinting at a proper RE2make...and then slap us with a crappy follow up to UC which will probably show us RE2 and Code Veronica, but still are not real remakes. Damn you Capcom

Hahaha. I think this is funny. I mean it sucks cuz i was gonna get a Wii if there was going to be a proper REmake for 2, but still this is pretty funny. We 360 and PS3 owners get Resident Evil 5 and the Wii ppl get this, haha, its funny, no?

Yeah its amusing. As cheap as 360s are and PS3s are soon to be, there really isn't an excuse not to nab one.

Yeah but I hope it is made for the more powerful systems.

I'd rather have the more powerful systems get Resident Evil 6, 7, and so on, while the Wii gets the remakes of 2, 3, and Code Veronica.

Best of both worlds and best for people who own an HD console and a Wii.

Well blame Nintendo for making WII have so low specs. Capcom tried to see how RE5 would work on WII and it crashed at the opening scene. :/ Capcom is _atleast_ giving _something_ to Wii owners to be happy about, better than then having people just hoping for something.

Capcom shouldn't have cockteased us about really bringing Resident Evil 2 to the Wii.

Also Capcom has announced the Resident Evil Classics line bringing the Wii ports of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 to the States for $29.99 each.
