That gives hope of a remake of RE2. I think it's pretty certain at some point, just because they haven't announced it doesn't mean it won't happen, especially considering the way the RE games have sold on the Wii so far. I'm sure it'll happen.

Remember originally they said that RE0 and Resident Evil both wouldn't come stateside...and now look how that turned out.

Capcom loves money too much not to bring out a remake of the most requested and popular game of the franchise.

And there's still the Code Veronica announcement to be made. Frankly it would be kinda odd to have Resident Evils 0, 1, Code Veronica, 4, Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles and not have 2 and 3 on the system.

Exactly. Those holding out hope for Remakes of 2 & 3 should have their wishes filled before too long. It seems that Capcom wants practically the whole series remade to the Wii up to 5, and considering every RE game on the Wii has made 1 mill + in sales, I'm sure they're already in the works.

EDIT: Everything's correct except for one thing. He calls Nicholai Mikhail when Mikhail was the one who sacrificed himself in an attempt to take out Nemesis on the train.

Anyway, to celebrate RE5, I took a picture of my Resident Evil collection. It's not as impressive as my Halo collection, simpley because it's less mainstream, and therefore there is less affordable memorabillia available, but it's still pretty impressive when you think of how expensive the god damn Gamecube games are...

Once more, I am in awe of your collection. First the Halo stuff now this?? WHOA . I've got all the movies and the novelizations by SD Perry. I did have the all the RE Gamecube games, but I sold my gamecube and all games to get the 360. I'll probly get a Wii and buy the RE games all over again.

yeah so I was watching TV the other day and I saw a cosmetic product commercial, it was Olay or something, and the product looked like the damned T-Virus from the RE movies. Has anyone else seen this? It had the whole double helix thing and all.

I had 1 and 3 for PC, as I didn't have a PS1. I still have them somewhere, but they're probably in storage with my other old ass PC games. I had 2 for N64, but that got sold a long time ago When the GC stuff came out, that's when I picked everything in that picture up.

Some recent additions to my collection. I sold the DVDs of the RE movies and upgraded to the blu-ray box set. I also got the Directors Cut of the first game for PS1 (which I can play on my PS3), the collectors edition strat guide for RE5, and all 4 volumes of the RE: Code Veronica graphic novels. Not pictured is the first issue of the new comic WildStorm is doing.

I have a couple of the old Toybiz figures, but I have no clue where they are. I never bought any of the RE4 ones either cause nothing in that game looked very cool.

The S.D. Perry novels were suprisingly good (despite her obsession with Rebecca and pointing out what a "strong young woman," Rebecca was). I'm sort of disappointed that she hasn't wrote more, but I can't blame her. Towards the end, she had to spend half the books explaining how she was retconning things.

I'm kind of surprised Capcom didnt have her come in and do REmakes of the books. Just edit in things that make them all fit cohesievely with each other, and what happened in 4, and then continue the series.

I used to have a gamecube with all the RE games for it, but I sold it and my DS (which I had RE DS) to get my 360.
