Well, after watching the first episode of Harper's Island, consider me a strong proponent for a one-season murder mystery RPG.

Now that I'm back online for the forseeable future, I'm pretty close to hammering out an application for it. Just have to figure out the details and such, so I don't think it's too far off.

RPGs that spawn out of hype and excitement for new and recent movie releases do not tend to do well. They tried that I think at least 2 times with two previous RPG failures, so do not take it the wrong way Kara Kent. But I wouldn't think it wise to make a Star Trek RPG either.

To add to that, even if we ignored the movie and did a regular Trek RPG, the fact still remains that it's very much a lop-sided ensemble. Unless you're the captain or first officer, there's not much fun to be had. I mean, do you really want to be Scotty and spend the entire game hanging around the engine room?
