I actually though about this just after I posted. KotOR era would be interesting.

But it has the drawback of everyone opting to be a Jedi. Setting the RPG in between ROTS and ANH would limit the amount of Jedi in the universe.

Hell, I'd personally prefer a Sith. Or a Bounty Hunter.

Yea I'd see myself picking up a Sith or Bounty Hunter if I were to apply. Thing is, there can only be two Sith so I think that "type of villain" will fill up quickly.

I think, given what I've been told about the concept that'll be put forth, there'll be more than enough classes for anyone to choose from.

So quick to forget, gentlemen, that KotOR is pre-"rule of two." Plenty of Sith running around in those days. And that is my ideal RPG continuity. I could settle for post-RotJ, but anything in-between is a turnoff to me.

Oh, I know. I've seen the "concept application". I was just stating out that I see the Sith spots filling up very quickly.

An excellent point. I'm still praying for a KotOR-era RPG,though. That's my Star Wars RPG dream.

I'd actually be interested in seeing a Star Wars RPG arc based on the Buddhist Novel "Journey Into The West." A Jedi leads a small group on a quest to find writings that hold the key to enlightenment and all that.

Y'know, the Legacy era would be a fun bit of the SW universe to explore. You've got an Empire that's in civil war with itself, between a massive Sith cult and the militaristic Imperial Knights. Then you've got the remnants of the Alliance trying to restore their own power, the Jedi being hunted down and trying to regroup, Bounty Hunters looking for a quick score, and even the Yuuzhan Vong to screw around with. It's practically tailor-made for an RPG!

Okay. This may sound stupid, but I want to know all of your thoughts on a Mortal Kombat RPG? With the new DC/MK game coming out, I've read every single piece of MK history and every single character's stories and surprisingly, it is a very interesting and awesome universe, and it screams RPG in my eyes. Besides I'd LOVE to play as Scorpion, Kung Lao or for an even more out-of-left-field choice, Shujinko.
