Wait wait...lemme try something...

u.

HAHA that looks like an angry face attack in that post...that is a lot of smileys.

Dammit, now it's the O's?

ooooooo

:woot:

so I guess the film rounds off to 2 hours with the missing footage. Sounds good.

HAHA people believe there is missing footage. It is 96 minutes without credits so that makes the movie 110 minutes if the magic footage is found. That will not save this movie.

I didn't find too many spaces where they could have added lengthy scenes other than just extending the existing ones. It just went 1, 2, 3... no time to pause or break for a change in pace.

I was not surprised by the running time. I said as much. Technically speaking it would have made more sense to cut the film down to at least 80+ minutes in order to squeeze as many showings as possible.

I said it in my first post however many months ago and some people didn't believe me. Fox is as predictable as the sun.

96 minutes ? That's just stupid. Then what's their excuse for the apparent lack of Deadpool backstory?

The reshoots took place in the middle of January. Lauren Donner made her comments about the run time a month later. Lauren was either telling the truth or she's an imbecile.

the movie isn't 96 minutes and there's more Deadpool in the 2 hour REAL/FINISHED cut.

here's Jackman talking to Wizard about why Reynolds was such a small part during principal photography:

WIZARD: There were stories online about reshoots and you even sent a post to AICN to counter these reports. Can you comment on what actually happened there?

JACKMAN: The whole thing got a little out of hand. I normally don't get involved too much, because at the end of the day, the proof's in the pudding. People like the movie or not. But it was kind of getting a little out of hand. We had finished shooting because there was a thing called Cinema Expo in Europe and I had to go and present Australia there, and I also did a little bit for Wolverine in that. It came at a time where we had about a week's shooting left. And also, Ryan Reynolds was only available for three days while we were shooting-he was on another movie. So we had a whole thing with Ryan we needed to do and we had about five, six days and we thought, "Well, it's great anyway for us to use Canada because, obviously, that's where the character originates from." So the truth be told, it was probably about three or four days of reshoots in there, and the rest was basically original photography, main unit stuff. So it was kind of exaggerated and so obviously erroneous and I just would hate people's excitement for the movie to be dampened because they think there was a big problem when there wasn't.

^Dude, there is not going to be added footage, Fox is as predictable as anything, just accept it.

I dont think they'll add that much more footage, but there is a lot of editing work to be done, that should help sort out the pacing issues hopefully.

read the interview.

The leak contains the 3 days Reynolds was on the set in March.

The ACTUAL film that comes out May 1st will contain ALL of Reynolds' performance and some filler from Hugh and Liev for some of the other scenes.

X2 had reshoots too, in case you didn't know. Jackman shot them 7 months after wrapping the film while he was on the set of Van Helsing.

So the stuff Reynolds filmed in January isn't in this cut?

But we saw pics of the bridge scene in January, that scene was in the film.

there's more, just wait 3 weeks :yay:

and to add to that, the movie will actually look good and sound fantastic with Gregson's score

well tell us what was there filmed with Reynolds and we will tell you.

you dont know that.:cwink:

you only come here to bash this movie.

you were bashing it before the leak hit the web.

you are now just using the leak as a whole new reason to bash it.

for the sake of purpose in the art of posting here, I will respond to your post now:

You saw an unfinished, crappy looking cut of what will be an epically visual and explosive summer blockbuster.

I saw the first 5 minutes of the film and turned it off immediately when hearing the score and seeing how raw the cut was.

to see this film with the score by Harry Gregson-Williams, the polished shots, finished effects and reshoots footage will be a completely different experience.

Even if you HATED the story, the film will be visually stunning.

I think I have to agree with dark_b in saying you don't know that.

the trailers ALONE are visually EPIC.

I watched a little bit of the leak, which contains some key visual pieces, and they all looked TERRIBLE.

THAT shows you why this cut is not to be taken seriously.

the 10 minutes of trailer footage we've seen will become 2 hours in just a few weeks - and basing this completely on trailer shots, the film will be a sight worth seeing.

What? The movie felt so jerky at times, especially the first half, there were obvious places where they can add scenes.

Remember that "only" 14 minutes is also close to 15% of the film. I think a lot of people are underestimating how huge 15% can affect a film, especially if it is a couple of key scenes.

For comparison, try skipping through about 15% of X2 and see what you think.

Yeah because trailers aren't supposed to convince you of that and a trailer has never been misleading in the history of mankind.

If the people who saw the leak aren't justified in saying the final film will definitely lackluster, then people who only saw the trailers are definitely not justified in saying this will be a film experience of epic proportions. :o
