I hate how X3 was only 100 minutes and they wasted $210 mill for that peice of crap. Sony better have spent their money wisely.

Well I would love it to last 2:30-£:00 hrs and I think if it has to it will.

With having the symbiote story, Sandman's origin, Harry taking revenge, Pete and Gwen, getting rid of the symbiote, Venom, big fight etc they will need all the time they can muster.

The only thing that can downplay this film, is for it to be to short and rushed.

The most is 2 hours, 15 minutes tops I'd wager.

This isn't X-men 3 which claimed to be a bigger, epic, and more emotional movie despite being a rushed piece of crap that had none of those elements despite the misinformation that was spread and reported on these forums pre-release, with people falsely proclaiming they heard from Fox contacts that the movie was over 2 hours when it ended up being 94 minutes without credits.

Look at the damn production. This is not X-men 3.

Look at the screenwriters and director. They don't say crap like, "I don't have a long attention span. I don't watch long movies. So we are going to make it shorter." Or "Yeah, Batman Begins was 2 hours two long. If they cut two hours out of that movie then it would've been perfect. Our movie won't have that problem that Batman Begins did."

This isn't a rushed as **** production like X-men 3 and the filmmakers aren't saying the crap that the X-men 3 people were.

And the clergy here were in such denial about it. Some idiots on here even proclaimed that some theatres simply had SHORTER cuts of the movie, while other theatres had the real LONGER cut, I kid you not.

My prediction (based on nothing)...

Spidey 3 will be between 2:15 and 2:25, with the outside chance of 2:30. It will be interesting to see if they have the prolonged intro titles like they did with the first two, as that 2+ minutes could be better used towards the story. Hmmm, I wonder if they'd get Alex Ross again for the recap via the drawings?

I actually think the title sequence will be more of a symbiote taking them over sort of thing. Like the symbiote crawling over Tobey Maguire and then it says Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst, symbiote goes over then it says Mary-Jane Watson.

It might take a while but it'll be something with the symbiote
