you only come here to bash this movie.

you were bashing it before the leak hit the web.

you are now just using the leak as a whole new reason to bash it.

for the sake of purpose in the art of posting here, I will respond to your post now:

You saw an unfinished, crappy looking cut of what will be an epically visual and explosive summer blockbuster.

I saw the first 5 minutes of the film and turned it off immediately when hearing the score and seeing how raw the cut was.

to see this film with the score by Harry Gregson-Williams, the polished shots, finished effects and reshoots footage will be a completely different experience.

Even if you HATED the story, the film will be visually stunning.
did i really bash the movie before the leak?if i remember correctly i was complaining abot FOX and rothman. but of course you know alread this :cwink:

What? The movie felt so jerky at times, especially the first half, there were obvious places where they can add scenes.

Remember that "only" 14 minutes is also close to 15% of the film. I think a lot of people are underestimating how huge 15% can affect a film, especially if it is a couple of key scenes.

For comparison, try skipping through about 15% of X2 and see what you think.
14 minutes can make a huge difference. difference to more action.
the over all story can not change.

or maybe they filmed an alternative ending? this could change a lot.

Yeah because trailers aren't supposed to convince you of that and a trailer has never been misleading in the history of mankind.

If the people who saw the leak aren't justified in saying the final film will definitely lackluster, then people who only saw the trailers are definitely not justified in saying this will be a film experience of epic proportions. :o

I'm talking VISUALS.

If the story was no good then it was no good. But a story, specifically within an action movie, is complimented by great effects (in trailers) and a good score (Gregson).

You saw a film missing both those complimetary details and the remainder of Reynolds' footage as Deadpool along with some filler from Jackman and Schreiber.

If you HATED, DESPISED, DETESTED the story, then you will at least get a better delivery on that TERRIBLE story in a few weeks.

People hated X3 for its plot, but MOST people liked it for its action.

action that was complimented by Powell's AWESOME score.

and you saw almost every major action scene that happens before the finale.

Agreed.

probably not, but I'm expecting some alternate scenes with all this trash talk about the film's story - specifically that of [of course] Deadpool's.

I'm also expecting Storm to be thrown back into the mix now that people are HATING the pace/running time.

i think the runtime 1.45 for only wolverine and sabertooth would be great. but throwing inside everything else changes a lot .

I was dissapointed with the beginning of the leak (you know what I mean).

didn't like how brief it was and I didn't like what was wasted on the title sequence.

it further confirmed my theory that this filmed shoulda been called Wolverine: Weapon X.

I would have loved further exploration into the characters before they meet Stryker.

Oh well, I'll get my insane action and operatic score in a few weeks.

I didn't. A lot of action doesn't mean interesting or well-done action. :o

And I really didn't like the visuals in trailers. They look way too much like video game graphics. I doubt I will be amazed in the final cut.

to each his/her own, but that last trailer gets really great crowd reactions.

last night during Fast and Furious, people went nuts when Wolverine was cutting up the hummer and flying into the chopper.

BINGO! The more you read certain bashes (around the net - IMDB, etc.) the more you realize that there is an agenda that has nothing to do with the quality of the movie. Trying to label each person's motivation is tricky because sometimes there are multiple reasons. Angry fanboys who can't handle the fact that the books weren't strictly followed. Frustrated Watchmen/DC fans, Fearful opposition movie fans, etc.

Over the past few days, I've seen them all come out of the woodwork. Some even blatantly admit it.

I hope Terminator: Salvation destroys Wolverine so I'm taking it down now.

Some are honest fans with complaints, more so on a site like this but some are hammering home an angry agenda. Keep that in mind and keep in mind that a workprint is just that, a work in progress.

Frustrated Watchmen/DC fans

So you're still on that, huh?

And I do agree that some people have agendas against this film, but I believe the reviews that label this film as simply "meh" are the more honest then the ones who deem it a pile of crap or the best film ever. This film isn't godawful but it isn't astounding.

Does that run time include credits? If not then that isn't a bad run time, pretty close to 2 hours.

So, not much of a difference in the length. As I said. Few little tweaks here and there.

Different countries, different running times.

"Its not unheard of." -Charles Xavier

I SO saw that coming. NTSC/PAL, no credits/credits, they still see the same film in the classification boards. In any country.

I believe the work print is 106 min 47 secs., so there appears to be very little difference in length between the work print and the final product. Of course, there could have been scenes added, while other scenes could have been removed.

this is my theory.

FOX had a 2 week window before ordering prints for the various theatres, to hear fans complain about the flaws in the leak.

They may have resorted to alternate conclusions to specific storylines, specifically with characters NOBODY will ever feel satisfied with.

*I'm expecting to see Storm in the film along with a completely different title sequence.

It's a possibility.

EDIT: But I'd like to add; I really don't think so.
