It sounds as though they are only utilizing her voice (at least for this film), which makes sense considering that she was cast so late into production.

Can't think of any major female Hal9000 type characters/computers from the Spider-man mythos. The fact that both she and Webb refused to reveal who/what she will be playing means that it's probably something relatively significant.

Clearly this confirms that she won't be MJ (whom she already denied), Felicia Hardy (most likely played by Felicity Jones), Liz Allan, and Betty Brant. Unless, it's a loose comparison that was meant to be a red herring.

Any thoughts as to who or what she might be playing?

Artificial Intelligence Officer? So I'm assuming she works for Oscorp. Would be an interesting take on biophysicist Debra Whitman. That would be ironic though, considering that Whitman is supposed to be plain jane, and Gadon is gorgeous.
