Interesting. The question still remains; is 2.1 better than the theatrical cut?

I'm all for extended or director's cut but it has to be better for it to be relevant. What I want to know is why didn't Raimi and company go back and work on the first film...in terms of visual effects to make them fit with the next two films. Say what you want but the visual effects in film one will look so out of place with what they did in parts 2 and 3.

That's the film he really needed to go back and touch up....

Wow that was amazing, there may be more to the action scenes then I thought! And I'm glad to see that Apartment brawl between Ock and Peter, the more Ock the merrier, and that seems to have some intense fighting between Ock and Spidey, where Ock clearly owns him lol.

Look at the extended action sequences, they look fantastic. I'm buying this soley for that reason. It just looks incredible! I cant believe Raimi cut it out of the theatrical release.

WOW!!!!...I dont know why they didnt put these in the original...as some may know, I thought the theatrical version of SM2 was a bit lagging in the action

He sure took his sweet ass time. Besides, this'll be a first anyway. This'll be the first time I'm paying for a sm2 dvd, so instead of suffering the fate of most of you, who NOW have to make another purchase for this DVD, I'm only making 1 payment for this movie

I think they were advertised as being part of the movie.

Of course they're part of the movie! That's why it's called an extended cut! lol The whole movie is digitally remastered too.
