Like I said in my post agreeing with Matt's original post (the one's that got deleted). It's going to look really funny when anyone who respectfully disagrees with how things are on here gets banned.

Exactly. Its bound to happen when you throw yourself out there as a mod. If you can't take criticism (constructive or otherwise, because they are both going to come...though the latter SHOULD be deleted) then you have no business being a moderator.

I think posting in general you need a thick skin, you just add a flak jacket when modding, heh.

To be honest by 2009 i expect Batman to be the only viable franchise WB has left out of their comic properties

But yeah, its all about delivery. I really doubt that 75 % of the people on these boards who despise Morg would if he were just a bit more professional when he first started moderating. It seems like only recently he realized he shouldn't antagonize people he is disciplining.

When i started this i looked at Drak as my mentor so to speak, the knack he has of talking to posters and not at them was my start point.

I add my thanks. He is actually willing and able to talk about things like an adult. It's awesome, though it's sad that that should distinguish him from so many others.

It's kind of like, "Honey, I want to thank you for being such a great husband. in 18 years together, you've never beaten me. That's so cool and I love it."

(just like in junior high Christian school), I had one infraction from Morg, then I got another infraction, but it was also a "misunderstanding", so I got my "infraction" *snicker*, reversed.

So was it a third strike "infraction", or just *pOw*, yer banned?

I did not know that. Think of yourself as a skilled fisherman, others take the bait, you real them in. You have the trophies to prove it.

with me i think it's beyond the point of "infractions". im a walking infraction Wil, i've come to terms with it. a juicy succulent infraction, medium rare. and most of the mods sit there in the clouds waiting, licking their lips....for that one moment where i put my feet on the line. my tippiest toe a centimeter over. then they all click their little ban buttons at once wanting to be "the one" to get me! i only pretend to enjoy it, a facade..the people want it, they ask for it and expect it. could it be that i'm not really a *****? maybe i'm just half a *****? either way, i have a target on me because of my behavior 4 years ago. no one ever focuses on my good behavior.

Well it's like the light bulbs in the elevator here.
All anyone ever does is come out of the elevator and say, "Hey, there's a light bulb burned out in the elevator."
They don't come out and say, "Hi, wanted you to know, all the light bulbs in the elevator are lit and functioning correctly."

They don't send you an infraction when you're "bad", and then send you a animated gif of a Gold Star for every post you post where you don't say anything "bad".


But yeah, it's like me with "negativity".

I can post about how the end of Spider-Man was so awe-inspiring that it made me cry.

Then I'll post about how Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever.

Then I'll post about how hilarious Erzengel, jag and Mr Sparkle are.

Then I'll post about how I love gyros.

Then I'll post about how the Bible is untrue and the Thing should've been done with CGI and...

Wilhelm is so negative and full of hate and what a miserable life he leads 'cause he always has to tear everything and everyone down.

He should take the rest of the mods on a retreat in the woods to do some exercises and role play to rediscover why they said yes when asked to be a mod.
And that's when they should have the big champagne and sheet cake party where they "retire" Morg and C. Lee.
