I just finished Wolves of the Calla took a while to finish kept procrastinating heres my thoughts and what not spoilers are in it so if you havent read it dont read it lol.

Father Callahan from Salems Lot really suprised me and towards the end of the book it got kinda meta like Stephen King actually being mentioned.
But I liked this book I feel like the group was really together in this book they were a band and in this book they all really gelled.

Also the wolves looking like Dr Doom is the first thing I thought I have the Hardback and it has pictures in it. Also the Harry Potter refernces made me laugh but Im really wondering what Mid world is I have so many questions I have the last 2 books and I really hope that it all ties together.

I finished Song of Susannah I blew through that book heres my thoughts on it and what not and im like 20 pages in the last Dark Tower book I cant belive im going to finish the series but man its like 800 pages the last book.

I was really thinking wtf Stephen King you re putting your self in your own book it better work and it did he easly could have gone wrong.

But man I really liked this book if really felt fast paced thing were going off and it just felt like things were going to end. Overall another great additon to the Dark Tower series. I feel like with the more answers we get the more that go unanswered but I love the parrarel world aspect it was so trippy.

Also the end of the book with Stephen Kind dying before he finishes the Dark Tower tower means that the story is going to the way it goes if you get what I mean.

Oh I was also wondering if I were to read the synopsis for Window Through the Keyhole on amazon or something would it spoil the ending of the last Dark Tower book?
I really want to know what its about but I dont want to risk a big spoiler because I know its between Wizard and glass and Wolves of Calla and Im just dying to know how in the world there is even more story to be told.

Joyland; new book by King

In today's The Times there is an interview with King by Neil Gaiman in which we can read the following:

Right now he's writing a book called Joyland, about an amusement-park serial killer.

Joe Hill On NOS4A2, The Walking Dead & Future Projects

Yesterday I had the rare opportunity to meet one of my favorite authors Joe Hill at Comic Con. He was warm, friendly and very approachable. Joe was kind enough to sign a few books and answer some of my questions about his next novel, future projects and the possibility of writing an episode of The Walking Dead with his father, Stephen King.
Joe is currently working on the third draft of his third novel called Nosferatu which should be released in the summer of 2012. The title is actually spelled “NOS4A2,” and it’s a vanity license plate.
The horror novel is described as a scary road story mixed with a “sideways” vampire tale. The prolific author has about 10 issues left in Locke & Key, his wonderful comic book series that earned him an Eisner award last night.
There are also plans for Locke & Key’s artist, Gabriel Rodriguez and Hill to do a mainstream five-issue superhero book in late 2012/early 2013. Additionally, the duo will collaborate on an original horror story that would run six-issues slated for 2013.
Hill has completed 200 pages on the book that follows “NOS4A2″ as well.
Regarding The Walking Dead, he is 98% sure that he and Stephen King will do an episode that will air during the third season.
I was unable to attend the screening of Hill’s Locke & Key pilot but the response from the fans that watched it was all very positive. Let’s hope that a smart cable channel like HBO picks it up!

Dunno about you, but I personally think King should retire. His latest batch of books are horrible. He doesn't write horror anymore.

11/22/63 was amazing. Duma Key and Just After Sunset were excellent as well. If anything his recent output is better than his 90's stuff.

The man has earned the right to write whatever the hell he wants.

I picked up Wind through the keyhole today.
I finished the last dark Tower book a few weeks ago and heres some thoughs on the ending and what not.

Looking at the series has a whole I liked it a lot
I started the books in late 2011 and read them at an ok speed and all the details and what being fresh helpe reading the last book.

I guess the ending made people mad I loved it I liked the last book a lot and did any one really thing Rolands tale would end on a happy note?
He was a bad guy a anti hero he did what he could killed and got many friends killed on his path to the Tower.
But I like the series a lot and man I felt really drained after reading it and I look forward to rereading the DT books a second time and see how it all clicks but Ill put that off for a while.

I enjoyed the endings, too! King did a great job relating Roland's exhaustion to the reader in the part of the last novel picking up after he returned to Fedic. For one-chapter characters, Finli and Pimli were well done, too.

Not sure if want on that syfy business, though. If TWD is so terrible, WTF is Darabont wasting his time there? *hinthint*

I thought it was odd that, of all the Dark Tower books, The Gunslinger would be so high. Granted, I haven't gotten around to the rest of the series after that one, but it seems mainly introductory to me. I'd think that the rest would have a bit more meat to them.

The original version of The Gunslinger is its own beast, so different from the rest of the series that King revised it. Maybe the person who made the list is remembering the earlier version instead of the later. Anyway it's really great and the series arguably falls apart in the last few books.

I picked up Carrie The Shining and The Dark Tower Wind through the keyhole

I read Carrie first realy small book and I liked it the shower scene grossed me out lol.

I finished Wind through the keyhole its really good the tone of the book is like the first four DT book rather than the later ones if you are a reader of the series I think it will be greatly enjyoed. (Side note the book is small compared to the other DT books its like 384 pages I think or around there)

I plan on reading the Shining next and ive read that the movie is basicaly nothing like the book is that true? I havent seen the movie but I have seen bits and pieces of it and know about some stuff like famous axe scene.

I also ordered Joe Hills book (Kings oldest son) Horns and the reviews on amazon are good so cant wait for that. But have any of you read any of his books?
