I think you missed the part of the movie where a man moved a 150 ton bridge with his mind. :p

150 tons? mmm, I'd say more like 30,000

One of my biggest problems with this film was the source of "The Cure." A mutant who can "deactivate" or "neutralize" a specific gene (let alone one as prominent as the X gene)?
Give me a break.
I can suspend my disbelief for much of the movie. I understand that it isn't possible for these people to have powers in the first place, but I am unwilling to believe that a mutant could change the genetic structure of any creature it comes in contact with instantaneously!
In order for the change we saw in Beast to occur, the mutant/cure would have to
1) remove or neutralize the X gene
2) replace the X gene or change the way it works
3) cause all cells created with the genetic code containing the X gene to die
4) create entirely new cells with neutralized or missing X genes to replace the old
5) regrow all hair and fingernails without the X gene
6) do 1 through 5 instantaneously
7) and do so without the body of the host rejecting the new cells as cancerous of flawed.

It's not just unrealistic, it's ridiculous. It is STUPID.
Um.. ya when was the last time you read an X-Men Comic, particularly on the Morlocks??

wow, a guy complaning about how unrealistic a comic book movie is.

oh god.. now the bridge..

Juggernaut, says something about not swimming or how to get there and then magneto brings the bridge there.... umm from a structural engineer POV, moving the bridge from its support like that, it would've collapsed, every civil and mechanical engineer and architect watching the movie must've been shaking their heads in disbelief.

its a called a stupid boat ! use it ! lol or atleast get a big flat piece of metal and have magneto float there

Actually, seeing as how Magneto would be supporting each bit of metal within the bridge, it would NOT collaps.

That is untill he set it down ;)

My mutant power is that when I'm punched in the nose, I sneeze uncontrolobly for like 2 minutes

Of course, he could've fused it together so it didn't fall apart.

And yeah, like Socko said, he could've levitated everyone to Alcatraz if he wanted, even without cars, by manipulating magnetic fields. He can also make force sheilds and wrap people up/imprison them with magnetic fields, as he did in the very first X-Men issue ever. Basically, he's Sam Jackson with a helmet and cape.

IMO it's believable.. The kid could have been contagious or whatnot.. some type of instead of exhaling CO2 he exhaled some type of temporary gene mutating "bacteria" that can react on skin contact or whatever you want to refer to it is.. One of two things could happen from that.. By the "bacteria" actually being injected it could be temporary as such like being near him ( confirmed by Beast ) but by them controlling mg injected etc enough could possibly "stabilize" the mutation and make it permanent and at the end when Magneto is playing chess he budges the piece with his mind (or maybe its the wind? lol) so that means its temporary? It's most likely futile trying to figure it out.. my cousin said Juggernaut got his powers from the Amazon lady I think i remember that.. but he said Juggernaut wasn't a mutant and should not have been affected

Well, Juggernaut was a mutant in the movie, I'm glad they didn't go into his Cyttorak Crystal background.

Hardboiled Huey wasn't a mutant, he was from another dimension

I cannot believe someone is complaining about a specific mutant power not being believable. He must be ******ed.

What about Pysics majors??? Sorry but everything in these movies(comic book movies) break about every law known to man. It is called FICTION! Plus how lame would it of been to see Magneto and his massive 100+ army taking a yacht or 50 small boats to Alcatraz island? The only "big flat piece of metal" for Magneto to "float there" around was the GG bridge. Sorry but you are nitpicking way toooo much.:)

OK, that one wins, hands down! Someone was stoned when they thought up that one!
He is angry because we ate his family:) So he hooked up with Al Queda and got a bomb stuck to his head.
