The Stupidest things In comics

Damn haters. I'm glad to see Hal and Jason back. Not so great resurrection stories, but I've never cared about the GL Corps until now, and all of Jason's recent appearences have been great.

GL Corps would be insanely better if Hal Jordan wasn't there to counter-balance the cool.

The main problem with Hal now is that his solo series kind of sucks. If they had kept Hal's responsibility for Paralax and not had that damned stupid yellow fear demon, then the series would have a whole new layer of depth to it.

The GL Corps are cool on their own merits, not because of Hal Jordan.

And Jason Todd sucks balls, plain and simple. Maybe Under the Hood was a good story but after that hes a useless character.

Not only that but theyre erasing every bad thing he ever did. He flipped off a guy on a highway once, that was retconned out.

I know. Johns wants one of his favorite heroes to be squeaky clean and good with no emotional baggage, but fails to relaise that Hal is only interesting when he has emotional baggage.

Which leads to the question, why isn't Absorbing Man usually made of soil, since he's always standing on it?
shoes

I can't believe nobody said this what about Hulk's shorts they stay on no matter what

Then shouldn't the Absorbing man be made of leather or rubber?

Hulk wears Reed's unstable molecules for his shorts.

Wolverine Origins and Endings.I don't get very critical and picky with comics, but this was just really bad.Plus the way they marketed it was very sneaky as well.

Thought balloons.

Characters explaining their actions out loud.

Oh yea and someone mentioned She-Hulk saying that Hulk has never killed anyone in any of his rampages.BULL@#$%.I'm glad Bendis addressed this head on in that interview he did for Newsarama a while back.

Yeah when I think logic and common sense I think Bendis.

good point but what about in the beginning then it didn't make sense

I'd have to say:

Superboy Prime altering the universe by punching stuff.

Yellow Fear Demon in Green Lantern.

Batman beating Amazo.

Lex Luthor going crazy and destroying metropolis in "Up Up and Away."

Everyone overreacting the way they are in Civil War.

Death of Hawkeye.

She Hulk stating that no one has ever died as a result of The Hulk's existence.

Pretty much everything that's happened to Bart Allen after Young Justice was cancelled.

How is it that you read my mind?

Aside from all that up there:

The Decimation

Wolverine/Kitty Pryde Miniseries

Frank Castle is Black
Frank Castle is a zombie

This is Wild Dog

Everything with Bizarro since Superman/Batman

Cir-El died, quickly replaced, forgotten

anytime Batman appears to be the villain

Michael Morbius is the Living Vampire; Thanks for clearing that up.

Sabretooth skinning a Wendigo

Most things that Mark Millar and Kevin Smith write. Smith especially. I got the chance to read Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do and was just... appalled by how Godawful it was. :down:down:down

Kevin Smith's GA is solid.

His GA run didn't do anything for me. I probably would have liked it more had the art not been atrocious. :o

Phil Hester and Ande Parks are great.

Couldn't stand their art. Not as bad as Ed McGuinness or Michael Turner, but close.
