Hammer Horror was going strong in the 70s.

So the ultimate question.

Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? I grew up with both but preferred Street Fighter.

Many more hours have gone into Street Fighter (II in particular) for me but both series are great.

There's still a lot of good horror out there today, you just have to look closely.

Yeah The Babadook was really good. Afflicted is another incredible horror flick that got slipped under the radar. And for your indie/art house crowd, Escape from Tomorrow was fantastic.

Not a horror movie, but have you seen Trollhunter? There is something about it I really love.

Batman is Ripe for horror stories, and there are many a great examples. I hope some day we get a batman movie with heavy horror tones.

The one kind of horror movies I found interest in is slasher films.

I saw it years ago, loved it. Have anyone seen the [Rec] films? The first two are worth watching.

The film which has most recently screwed with my head is "A Field in England".

Has the alternate universe been closed down or we can still access it using a different path? Hope someone gets what I'm refering to.

I saw It Follows yesterday, it's pretty much a modern day Carpenter film. It'll get you paranoid.

That's how I felt about it when I seen it last week. It definitely gave me a paranoid feeling , especially that the theater that I seen it at had a showing at night and I take the bus to travel around the city. Because a bus will only come once an hour in Detroit and the majority of the street lights don't work in the city, I had a paranoid feeling on my way back home.

I saw it by myself in a empty theater and that definitely added more paranoia towards the movie.

I will say though I wished the 3rd act [BLACKOUT]The pool scene[/BLACKOUT] was done better.

Fallen, you excited? :oldrazz:

McFarlane say's this every few months. He's hurt me way way too much.:csad:

I'll see it to believe it.

What Fallen said.
I'm interested in the movie.

McFarlane turned down a big budget offer for a spawn fim back in the 90's because he wouldnt have control and we ended getting what we saw.

Apparently it was an April Fools joke. Perhaps someone else should do Spawn instead of McFarlane.
