But yeah, I get what you're saying and I do agree. Though I believe it's too late for that now, such a sudden change after so much time would seem rather strange and probably wouldn't be welcomed.

Yeah, that "will they/won't they" thing has been running through basically the entire show. You can't play on the same note forever without it becoming tedious and pointless.
