The Superhero Cinematic Civil War of Tomorrow Thread - Part 62

Allegedly he's RFK Jr. level anti-Western medicine. Blamed the COVID vaccine for being the cause of his Parkinson's and is pro-Israel.
Well, if that's true, that's wildly disheartening to hear. One of my favorite voice actors who's voiced so many great roles in shows I've greatly enjoyed my entire life.

So I saw a video over the weekend from a podcast of Matthew Lawrence talking about being basically propositioned for "favors" by an *unnamed* Oscar Winning director to "be the next Marvel Character"..

The only director I can think of that would line up time-wise (its wasn't for Eternals it was back in the day) would be Cameron when he was developing Spider-Man

y'all see this? thoughts?

James Cameron is one of the most spotless clean, scandal-free Hollywood stars out there.

He may have a sh*tty demeanor on set due to his perfectionism, and he had an affair while married to Linda Hamilton, but I'm not biting that he's a pedophile.

My guess would be Bryan Singer when he was directing the X-Men movies. (Even though he's never won an Oscar.)

And I read ALL of that craziness in his Beast Boy voice.
How could you not with that profile pic of his? :o

Yeah, Cameron may be an a**hole at times but he's not a monster.

He pretty specifically said oscar-winning director
but if it was Singer, who would Matthew Lawrence have played in those movies, not a lot of teenage males... Iceman?

He probably would have played either Iceman or Pyro.

Huh, I don't know why I thought Singer won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for co-writing The Usual Suspects but that was all Chris McQuarrie.
