It's a distraction from the fact that a white cis straight MAGA supporter shot up a church and it goes against their narrative that the left (especially trans folk) is doing all the terrorism, even as the stats show it's 90% right wing.

Why not? State politicians go out of their way to separate themselves from their national party when they are unpopular. And Kamala and Biden were unpopular. Kamala had a chance to separate herself but she instead decided to tell everyone that everything's fine and that genocide is cool. That was more then enough to suppress the Dem vote in close states.

The lack of fight and empathy the Dems display is even why the left, who still vote for them, hate them. And they refuse red meat because they're all tied up in it themselves.
