The Superhero Cinematic Civil War of Tomorrow Thread - Part 62

Doesn't it end with Casper moving on?
No, he was going to use his dad's machine to become human again but then Kat's dad died so they used it to bring him back. Then Kat's mom appeared as the only non-cartoonish ghost in the movie and granted Casper's wish to briefly become human, thus unleashing Devon Sawa on an unknowing generation of tween girls. :o

So you want to kill him off again for your sequel? :o

Curious who you've seen. Has Rhea Ripley broken containment?

For the record, I only watched wrestling for a couple years in the late 90's when I was a little kid. Even then, it was mostly WCW over WWE. Since then, not a thing.

Yet, I very much know who Rhea Ripley is.

The funniest thing Rock did this year is come back to WWE to give it its biggest heel turn ever, with Cena going heel, the biggest thing since Hogan formed the NWO, and then completely dipped, leaving everyone hanging and killing the whole thing dead.

Yeah, there's a reason for that. Look up some of his recent red carpet pictures. He ain't in wrestling shape.

I still remember the smell of those rubber Casper puppets from Pizza Hut back in the day.

I had the casper.

So, how old were you all when that came out?
I have to say, it wasn’t a big hit with the college kids.

Five years old. Used to play that movie on VHS into the ground!

But the crazy thing is, the script is so underrated. Tons of adult humor and it actually is very heartfelt.

A few scenes make you cry, especially when Casper gets his memories back and recalls how he died.

Speaking of Casper.

Does anyone remember Casper Van Dien?

I always thought that guy looked he was created in a lab to be the most generic-looking white leading man actor ever. I still love Starship Troopers but he is one of the worst actors I’ve ever seen. I think it somehow helps that movie though haha

Seems he is still acting and has a recurring role on Wednesday currently.

The Rock's career post-Furious 7 is deeply funny and one of those things that never stops giving laughs. Oh, your attempt at taking over DC failed? Time to crawl back to daddy Vin. Oh, wait... that movie bombs and the sequel is in a state of who knows what? Whelp, time to pretend to be a real actor.

Incredibly lame dude, but it's good that he's finally off the roids for the time being for his own health.

Oh really? Haven’t seen the second season yet

Remember when the last one ended with them driving away from an explosion down the Hoover Dam and then cut to credits? Good times, good times. They should abandon the next movie and just add a title card to the end "and then it got them"

Nothing gets them besides family.

You missed force Disney to make a live action remake to a movie that wasn't even 10 years old yet.

Hilarious man, and I can't wait for whatever he tries next when this movie gets totally ignored come Award Season.
