The Superhero Cinematic Civil War of Tomorrow Thread - Part 62

@Sithborg will slap me, however, if Dwayne ever would return to a CBM role I could actually kinda see him pulling off:

Casper was a summer movie right? Cause I would have been 8 going on 9 when it came out. We had it on VHS and I saw it in the theater. I haven't seen it since the 90s, but I remember liking it as a kid

So Disney owned Power Rangers... Sold Power Rangers... and made a Power Rangers knock-off?

So, how old were you all when that came out?
I have to say, it wasn’t a big hit with the college kids.
I was almost 7. I was pretty obsessed with it for a few weeks until the Power Rangers movie came out but I definitely had the VHS. It later became a Halloween season rotation DVD when I worked in a video store and we were only allowed to put G and PG rated movies on the TV.

First Batman Returns now this. Check you out.
You'll be happy to hear I'm gonna watch that this weekend, possibly tonight.

I haven't really noticed this until recently but it's remarkable how much young Tom Cruise and Nicholas Hoult look alike.

Remember to watch Nic Cage and Nic Hoult in Renfield

Back to Casper, I remember thinking the liquid used for the machine looked like juice drink.

Nic Hoult needs to play Seward and Van Helsing so he can play every significant male hero/victim character in Dracula. I guess he could also play Holmwood and Quincey too but no one really cares about them lol.
Bro, no Quincey Morris slander in this house. He's a Texan playboy with a Bowie knife! He kills Dracula.

True! He’s a fun character but the problem I think is that the book just has too many guys hanging around trying to be the hero and they kinda get lost in the shuffle. But Quincey is cool even if he gets weitten out of a lot of adaptations

Speaking of Casper.

Does anyone remember Casper Van Dien?

I always thought that guy looked he was created in a lab to be the most generic-looking white leading man actor ever. I still love Starship Troopers but he is one of the worst actors I’ve ever seen. I think it somehow helps that movie though haha
He played Brahm Bones in the Tim Burton Sleepy Hollow. He was actually pretty good in his limited screen time in that

Funny enough, he just showed up on Burton's Wednesday.

@Snow Queen only knew him as the father of Grace Van Dien. We have watched Starship Troopers and Sleepy Hollow together. :funny:

I feel like comic writers make the Anti-Life Equation anything they want it to be. The Anti-Life Equation was the friends we made along the way.

So, just saw an SNL sketch with Bad Bunny. I have... questions about El Muerto.
