The purple, the height difference, their facial expressions, the Metropolis Meteors fan club in the background…this pic is perfection.

No need for a reboot.A Gargoyles reboot is happening?!

No need for a reboot.
I’ll take the original (not the cartoon) any day of the week. It scared the living bejeebus out of me as a kid. Even if it did have the legendary Bernie Casey as the Gargoyle. The gargoyles were literally portrayed as demons, or fallen angels. Terrifying.

Y’all gonna accuse me of being old, but when I was a kid my family didn’t have cable. So my brothers and I would wait up till after midnight on the weekends because that’s when local television would show the real wild, strange, $h!:LOL What the hell is this?!
You're going to send me down a rabbit hole, I've never heard of this but I'm intrigued.

This was one that was shown on several occasions. Bernie Casey was the head creature. It also had a young Scott Glenn in it.
And this will look stupid, but there was a scene with a guy waking up to see a gargoyle creeping up and looking at his at the foot of his bed that freaked the mess out of me as a kid. I couldn’t sleep for weeks after seeing it. This was absolutely burned into my memory.

Seriously, those mother-scratching gargoyles were evil in that film.
Eh, if true, I'm torn
I don't think Marvel has asked him for inputs, but I love the concept of Chris Claremont casually spoiling Doomsday and Secret Wars.
I figure the trailer that's been out since December might be attached to Thunderbolts with a new (final?) trailer out by the end of May in time to be attached to M:I and/or Lilo and Stitch.I am bothered that other than the Minecraft imax thing, no other movies have had the Superman trailer in front of it
I see F4 and the dinosaur crap all the time but no Superman, the movies out in like 70 days, what the hell is going on here
I think 74 year old Chris Claremont is basically regurgitating internet rumors people have told him about lol
Eh, if true, I'm torn
On the one hand: he's an unused villain, he's not Magneto, and he's a visually stunning character who could look amazing on film
On the other: I fear sithborg is correct that this a way to avoid the more political side of X-men. A 19th century geneticist who's obsessed with mutant genes and using them to give himself eternal life or whatever the hell Sinister's plans usually are is much more standard superhero stuff than Magneto or Human villains would be. My only hope is they get a director with a vision for making the movie about, like, the exploitation of mutant bodies and relating that to the ways minorities have been used over human history, and the hypocrisy of mutant-hating villains secretly wanting to be mutants, or something down that path... idk, they could make it work, but they need people with the right clarity of vision to make it happen
Didn't Patrick Stewart spoiled something as well? For MoM.Could also be the case of 74 year old being a 74 year old, and not giving a damn and spilling lol.
Especially since some of those, I hadn't even heard on the rumor mill.

Basically what he said seems to have been previous rumors or otherwise safe speculation where it's "Yeah, it makes sense that they'd throw that in there".Could also be the case of 74 year old being a 74 year old, and not giving a damn and spilling lol.

Are you sure he wasn't acting?Didn't Patrick Stewart spoiled something as well? For MoM.
Now at 92% with 73 reviews.
I knew it'd be better received than BNW but I wasn't expecting a score in the 90s right out the gate.
Glad to hear. This gives me some more confidence in it. Actually kinda hopeful about this one.
