The math is wrong. Without the money inherited from his parents, Bruce wouldn't have the means to travel, which means he wouldn't have the means to learn every form of jujitsu and every other form of Karate' known to man. Everybody forgets that Bruce is who he because of his parents. Both witnessing their death and their Enterprise worth of wealth givin' to him.

So keeping an open-mind about things, Clark could just as easily become just as good of a straight technical ass-kicker like Bruce and maybe even have an advantage of learning certain work ethics from being a farmboy on the good 'ol Kansas Kent Farm.

Something to think about but I know, I know. Bruce is the Goddamn Batman.

Speaking of Bruces, Dr. Banner certainly has survived as a nomadic vagrant so it is not unreasonable to see that happen (for crying out loud even Qui Chang Kane was able to at least get picked up by Shao-Lin monks with out any money). The point is moot.
